Lakes Region Cozy Camp in Shellcamp

Welcome to our camp located in the heart of the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Located near Shellcamp Pond, a 145 acre pond with a local beach and kayaking; this camp is a great escape to relax while visiting the Lakes Region. Close to both Concord and Laconia as well as a short drive to all the White Mountains have to offer. Come for the weekend and enjoy a show at the Bank of NH Pavilion, a race at NH Motor Speadway, or a lake cruise on the Mt Washington out of Weirs Beach on Lake Winnipesaukee. Our open concept camp is great for relaxing as well as having coffee on the three season porch with limited views of the pond. The full kitchen includes a microwave and electric stove. The bathroom includes a stand up shower. A short walk will bring you to the beach for a swim, launch a kayak, or enjoy one of the finest sunsets in the Lakes Region. We welcome you to come enjoy your time in historic Gilmanton, NH with this camp near Shellcamp Pond. No pets and no smoking allowed.

Great spot for our one night stay. Went to the NH Bank Pavillion for a concert and it was less than 1/2 away. The house was very clean and comfortable!

If you're looking for a quiet place to stay that is fairly close to the Bank of NH Pavillion this is a great option. We enjoyed being able to go swimming and spend time on the screened in porch. Only thing I would say is that if you plan to cook bring your own seasonings; that includes salt and pepper.

I cleaned the whole house, left everything as I found it, and even left before the agreed time because the homeowner asked me to leave and still wants to charge me extra.

Our policies are very clear in the description of our property. Two vehicles and four guests, no smoking and no parties. There were 8-10 cars and approximately 20 people. We received multiple neighbor complaints. The property needed extensive cleaning, there was evidence of smoking, and several items needed to be replaced due to damage or they were missing. The additional fee was to cover the violation of all of these policies as well as the replacement of items and extra cleaning. As of this review, the additional fee has not been paid.

Came in for the Nascar races, the location was great- just down the road from the speedway! Area was quiet and perfect for what we needed/wanted.

Ease to bank of nh pavilion

We found this house last minutes for our one night stay to go to bank of nh pavilion concert. It was clean quiet and perfect. Great location.

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for so we could enjoy a fun race weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway! Being just minutes from the track made it easy to attend all the events while still having a personal and quiet place to stay at the end of a long day. It is clean and in a beautiful, quaint neighborhood with a sliver of a view of Shellcamp Pond which is just a short walk away. We cannot recommend this property enough for anyone who is attending races at NHMS, events in Concord or Laconia, or outdoor enthusiasts who wish to enjoy the beautiful natural bounty the region has to offer.

Nice spot to stay for concerts !!

Very nice camp on a small lake. It’s about a 20 minute drive to the Bank of NH venue. Josh was great at communicating and easy to reach for questions. Our group had 2 couples.

Short stay

We only stayed for a night, we had tickets to a show in Gilford. We got there right at 3:00, the check in instructions were specific and simple. The cabin itself was spotless and welcoming. The welcome basket when we walked in was a great touch.Loved the rotary phone! This will definitely be the first place we check availability next year!

Good stay but...

We had a good time in NH! The cottage was very clean, the living area is very spacious, and everything close to a nice lake! Here are few things that we liked a bit less : - The back of the couch was broken - Many dishes were dirty, and the kitchen lacked of few basic things (cutting board, water kettle, non stick pan for eggs, etc.) - Sleeps 5 but w chairs on the table inside

Thank you Jean Michel for staying at our camp. The couch is not broken as it is designed to be against a wall for support. I am not sure if you moved the couch away from the wall it was set up on. The camp is set up to sleep 4-5 people with a table and 4 chairs on the 3 season porch along with a small table with 2 chairs in the kitchen. Thank you for the recommendations to the kitchen.
