Vernon was a terrific host - so communicative ensuring our checkin, stay, and check out were easy. It was a terrific home, very comfortable for our family, and so close to so much in beech mountain and banner elk. Loved our stay, would absolutely come back!

My family enjoyed the Beech Mountain area, Banner Elk, Boone and Blowing Rock with all the shopping, waterfalls and snowtubing.

We loved our stay- perfect for us with our 2 small dogs. We enjoyed the large deck each morning. Saw lots of deer in the neighborhood. We didn't need to utilize the downstairs as it was just 2 adults and two dogs but could see it would be great for a larger group. Kitchen had all we needed and the king size bed was very comfortable. Host communication was excellent. The location was good for us as we were there for hiking and waterfall chasing.

To many broken items, especially in the plumbing faucets. Exterior needs to be spruced up with repaired wood siding and deck.

Hi Jack - We appreciate your feedback and have already corrected the faucet issues. Had you let us know during your stay, we would have happily come to fix them right away. But since you let us know at the end of the stay, we fixed them immediately after your departure.

Beech mountain vacation

Enjoyed our stay. The location is great. Close to Banner Elk and fun activities on Beech Mountain. We enjoyed the large patio space. Quiet and private.

Nice house with great views. Clean and has all the basic kitenen items...bring any spices/seasonings though. Outdoor deck was great to sit out and enjoy the views!

Birthday vacation

Had an amazing time at an amazing retreat in the mountains. Saw deer every single day including fawns! Loved the outdoor deck area and the gigantic kitchen! Beds were super comfortable and area was nice and quiet. Would love to come back and stay here again!

The cabin was the perfect cozy experience! We were in a prime location to get to visit all the neighboring towns (Banner Elk, Linville, Blowing Rock, and Boone). The only concern was that the main living room and kitchen were on the second floor and the steps were rather steep, so be cautious if you’re traveling with the elderly.
