The check-in process went smoothly and the accommodations were perfect! All the rooms were clean and the rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. We also enjoyed the peaceful setting and using the rockers on the porches. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

This property was very nice. It has two covered porches for sitting. The master bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had a heated floor. The living room was comfortable and the TV and wifi were adequate. We didn't have pets and didn't use the deck due to the weather. Lots of ceiling fans and a nice dining area. The host, Karen, responded quickly to an issue we had.We would stay there again.

The house was perfect for what we needed. It was well appointed with everything you would need. The beds were extremely comfortable.The house was very clean and very quiet.We plan on renting the house again on our next trip there.

Lovely house and quiet location

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The dogs loved the fenced-in yard! Lost River State Park is nearby and is a joy to hike.

I really enjoyed the stay. The house was well taken care of. It was perfect for our family of three. The grill was great. The cooking pots and pans, as well as knives, were in great shape (somewhat unusual for house rentals). Netflix and Prime Video were available for the guests, which was very convenient for relaxation after a long hike. Will definitely consider staying again if in the area.

Long Juoy 4th weekend

This lovely house worked well for our group, including a senior dog. The location is excellent, nearby several beautiful parks.

Wonderful stay!

We had a fabulous weekend at the Farmhouse. Comfy, clean, and well-equipped, it was the perfect home base for hiking in Lost River State Park. Sunset on the deck, stargazing in the field…we had a great time!

Great stay

Karen's rental is an adorable home in the country. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked, and the fenced in yard is fantastic for anyone travelling with dogs! Karen is also a very responsive, helpful host. If you want to have a lovely remote retreat, this is the place to stay.

Beautiful home

We wanted a relaxing weekend getaway and got exactly that with this home. The hosts were great…the house was clean and very well maintained, with plenty of space for us. I highly recommend this listing

Charming, comfortable, and country

We spent a weekend with four friends and had a wonderful time! The tree top deck was amazing, the location made it easy to go on hikes, and the whole place was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this home to anybody looking for a quiet getaway!!!

Peaceful and Relaxing

The house was fully equipped with everything we needed for a delightful stay. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced in yard which is such a plus for pet owners. We had beautiful weather and woke to a dusting of snow our last day. Our stay was perfect.

Scenic Tour of Fall Foliage

Really enjoyed the property even though we didn't get a chance to fully explore all the amenities as we were busy going to Lost River SP, Seneca Rocks & Cavern, Spruce Knob, Dolly Sods & Davis WV, and Blackwater Falls SP. We enjoyed pizza from Lost & Found, eating at the Lost River Grill, and breakfast at Lost River General Store & Cafe.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The property is incredibly quiet and peaceful, making it the perfect place to unwind. The house itself was extremely comfortable, and we especially loved the heated floors in the bathrooms—such a luxury! The beds were super cozy, and the kitchen was by far the best-stocked kitchen we’ve ever experienced in any rental. Our dogs were in heaven with the fully fenced-in backyard, and we loved relaxing on the deck in the evenings, grilling out and enjoying the mountain scenery. We truly cannot wait for our next stay at this beautiful, comfortable home. Highly recommend!
