The unit was very nice and on the ground floor was very convenient. Only draw back was the constant noise coming from the master bathroom.

Beautiful place to stay

We enjoyed our stay so much, and the place was perfect for us. Being on the ground floor was nice as you could walk out the porch and straight to the pool. Couch and beds were comfortable and everything was clean.

Great Condo

We had a great experience staying in this beautiful condo. It is close to the ocean and the pool and hot tub. With was beautiful, and enjoyed relaxing on the huge patio, and walking to the pool bar area for happy hours.

We have been going to Rocky point for the last 10 year,, and last three we have been staying in las Palomas. this was by far the best condo that we have rented! We will use it for sure in our next trip! Thanks Delene!

Fall Break GetAway

This location was perfect! We loved not having to use the elevator especially during a busy week.. The condo was well stocked with comfortable beds.. Communication with the property manager was amazing! We would rent this condo again..

Lovely beach and pool time!

Had a great time here with my daughter and my two grand children, eight years and six years old. The resort is wonderful and kid friendly. The condo location was directly in front of the pool so access was very easy. Our condo was very clean and comfortable, the kitchen was great and had everything we needed, the view was beautiful, and it had wonderful beds that seemed brand new. We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back.

Amazing condo steps from the lazy River!

We have never stayed at Las Palomas before and WOW! That place is amazing! Early check in was available to us, just be prepared to stand in line for a while. Communication with the host was easy and replies were prompt. The condo itself is beautiful inside with everything you could possibly need for a fantastic vacation! Can’t wait to go back!

Highly Recommend

We absolutely loved staying here. We have been many times and this condo was one of our favorites. It was such a surprise to see how much updated it was, compared to the pictures on here. We really enjoyed being on the first floor. It made a huge difference. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Amazing Condos

The pictures do not do the condos justice, they are so beautiful! Patios were huge, enough room for my little ones to play in. Spent most of our days at the pool so it was very convenient getting to and from the condos. We did not have any issues. Would love to stay here again.

Wonderful condo in very close proximity to beach and pool

We were very impressed by the prompt and courteous correspondence from the property manager. The condo was very pretty and had everything we needed. It has been updated since the displayed photos, and that was a nice surprise. The sofa sleeper was stuck, so we were not able to utilize that, but it was not imperative to our stay. I did inform the prop mgr, and feel confident that she will have it repaired in time for future guests. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay in this condo again.

Fall break stay

Condo was extremely nice, as advertised. Amenities were awesome, kids had a great time at the pool,slide, and lazy river. Check in was very frustrating, not enough staff to take care of people checking in, long wait. Then once we checked in and got all of our stuff to the front door of condo, keys did not work. Had to wait in the same line just to get keys that worked. Once that was over we had a great time. Thank you Delene for your nice place and hospitality.

My experience in Las Palomas

My experience was wonderful with the exception of my experience in the pool. There was too many people drinking and smoking in the pool and lazy river. There are signs of no smoking, however people don’t respect that and workers don’t say anything either. I think people should only be able to drink in the adult pool near the bar but not in the lazy river or the smaller pool as there’s kids .

Wonderful!

I’m so happy we found this property. It was actually remodeled and nicely updated from pics on VRBO. The location of the unit was perfect. Right outside the pool area and just a quick walk to the beach. The house fit 6 nicely with the pullout couch. We did have a slight mishap with the water heater but it was quickly remedied by my husband and the hotel staff was sent quickly to make sure it was ok. Unfortunately, it was just switched off. No biggie. The kitchen has all you need to prepare food, just remember to bring cooking oil. The beds were very comfy. The house was clean. Perfect location to rent. If we get the chance to book this property in RP again we definitely will!

Decent rocky point rental

We just returned from a three night stay. Overall, we were happy with the resort and this rental unit. One positive was the location, being on the first floor near the lazy river and the lobby. The lobby is the only reliable location for wi-fi. The report is pretty well maintained with lots of freshwater swimming options including a small water slide. It was hot and humid in Rocky Point for this stay. The A/C worked ok for us. The 2nd bedroom is quite warm in the mornings because of the rising sun shining on it. Keeping that room's door open might help keep it cooler. Only two of the stove burners were working, but it didn't cause us any inconvenience. We were hoping to watch a movie on DVD, but could not get any of the DVD players to work. It appears they were broken. Would we stay in this unit again? Maybe, but I'd first consider other 1st floor 2 bedroom units.

Test of patience!!

After getting confirmation from the owner that we could check-in early, my family and I arrived just prior to noon. By our surprise, Las Palomas would not let us check-in until 4pm due to an undisclosed maintenance issue. After dealing with the late check-in, four hours later we moved all of our stuff into the condo. A couple hours later we noticed the room was still 95 degrees. I called the front desk to let them know there was a problem and they immediately told me that the AC compressor was busted. Why would Las Palomas allow this condo be rented if there was a defect like AC not working? Fortunately we were able to occupy another room on the 8th floor, once again moving all our stuff, at 9pm. Day one completely shot and should have been refunded. Friends of ours rented the adjacent condo also suffered from the AC not working properly and resort staff giving false times maintenance would arrive. The entire first day was dealing with resort staff incompetence. Prior to renting, I asked Delene if the resort supplied tubes for the lazy river and was told yes. During check-in we were informed that the resort stopped supplying tubes about a year ago and we could buy some for $10 in the convenience store. If you are looking for a spa experience, the spa has relocated from the property. To sum it up, I would say that if the AC worked and we didn’t have to deal with the resort staff, this would have been a great place to stay. Las Palomas may have been a 4 star resort in the past but now I would rate it as 2-3 star going downhill.

We have enjoyed this part of Mexico for over 40 years and now can enjoy from this beautiful resort. We meet friends and family in Rocky point several times a year and have made many good friends here as well. What a great family and couples vaction area.

We love to walk the beach at sunrise and then enjoy breakfast on the patio of our condo. Then we may go into town to the fishmarket area or visit friends or hangout around one of the pools . Then back to the beach for a sunset stroll.
