When we booked the house as it is advertised for 7 people, Jennifer tried to charge us an additional $ for 5 extra people. We were forced to rent another house for the other 5 people. She refused to work with us. I had to contact VRBO 3 times to get the code. The house was dirty. There was a ham in the freezer, shoes by the front door, the garage was a disaster and it looked like a hoarder. There was trash in the trash can and the whole house felt WEIRD. The two of us decided to go stay at the other house as we didn’t feel safe. I have pictures of everything upon checking in. I booked through Expedia but it turned out to be. VRBO property and it was a big nightmare. Save yourself the headache and don’t book this property. Oh and after we contacted the state attorney general she changed the invoice to state host fees. I have screenshots of everything as well!

Misleading listing

Access to Swimming pool is listed which is the main reason we selected this property and the owner did not have access to the pool to give to us. She stated she would try to get access and get back to us and never did. VRBO is looking into whether this is a fraudulent representation of pool access and if should be removed from the listing since, as mentioned above, was the main reason we decided to rent this property. As mentioned in the previous review, the pictures in the listing do not match the interior of the home. The house is not clean. The porch is filthy with cobwebs and bugs and dust with an old pedicure chair, hair cutting chair and other piece of salon equipment jammed into the porch. There were only two towels out for three of us, only one remote in the living room worked and none of the others for the five tv’s in the house. All batteries were dead. There was no closet to hang clothes and no dresser drawers for us to use. There is minimal lighting in the home, one mantel light and lamp in the living room and no lights in front room. Out of six lights in the master bath, one bulb worked. The light in the kitchen worked about 1/3 of the time. The house is not clean. Cobwebs and dead bugs on window ledges, mantel, bathroom floor. This house is not ready to be on a VRBO or other rental website.

Needs some adjustments

The host was great about making changes. Also was easy to get a hold of if we needed to. She changed a bedding situation quickly. With that being said the home needed to be emptied out more. The freezer was full of food, so no where to store items of our own. Drawers and dressers were full of owners items. A lot of personal items in the home, just felt like we were staying where someone lives full time. Also photos that are listed are older and not current representation of the inside of the home.
