The property was clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were kind and attentive, and even shipped us something we left behind free of charge. Beautiful area!

We had a great time, nice relaxing weekend. Kids had a great time fishing and canoeing. Place was clean and had lots of extras. Owners were very responsive and engaging at the beginning the trip. Everything went smoothly.

Our stay was good and very relaxing. Because of the water problems all over the U.S., that was a little disappointing. We could not access the water off the dock, but this was not the hosts fault. We did see a mama moose with her 2 babies right in the front yard. We also saw deer, racoons and a bald eagle. The property inside was extremely clean and very cozy. If the water level comes back up, we would come back again.

The place was great and exactly what we were looking for to have a quiet get-away. The property had peaceful scenery and clean accommodations. Didn't have much luck catching any fish in the nearby lake, but I know that's not at fault of the owners, just an fyi to future travelers. I will say though that the dock could use some TLC and was not super accessible for an older gentleman. And only other thing of note with the property is that the freezer part of the Refrigerator could get a bit colder; wasn't really optimum temperature for keeping ice frozen for several days. But really overall, it was a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend!

Idyllic spot

I can’t say enough about this adorable home and property. The owners ere swift the responses and kind and helpful. The property was serene, beautiful and equipped with everything we could need to enjoy our stay by the lake. The house had all the amenities necessary to make meals and enjoy the indoors as well. I highly recommend! Oh, and a shout out to the neighbors next door with the sweet little dog, she is a wonderful greeter to the neighborhood and so well trained.

Quit and fun for famlly

Easy check-in and kitchen facilities accomadating. Only thing fridge was not working very well. Accomadations were clean.We come to Soda to visit our Son and family. My husband and I are both over 70 and the smaller bathrooms were a little difficult to get around in . The son and family came out for a day and enjoyed playing on their kyaks. We all enjoyed the facility. My son was interested in maybe renting the facility for a weekend with the kids.We would get the place again.

Great place and an even greater host! The place was exactly as described on Vrbo. The host was very honest about the water conditions and told us before we booked that the water level was low and we wouldn't be able to access the water from the dock. The host kept us updated about everything and addressed any issues within minutes through text messages or the Vrbo app. The reservoir is about 15 minutes walk from the property, and the neighbors were very friendly, greeting us whenever we passed someone during our walks.There is also a big, very friendly dog in the neighborhood who never barked at us or anyone else. Whenever the dog saw us, they would peacefully walk beside us for a while. The dog seemed to have a limited territory because once we crossed a certain point, they would turn around and head back. We never found out who the owner was.We really enjoyed peaceful breakfasts and dinners in the backyard while watching birds fly over the water or swim. Overall, it was a very fun and relaxing trip.

These guests were great! Very understanding of the water conditions and of the power outage for a portion of one of the days. This was greatly appreciated. Great with communication and very clean and respectful. We would invite them back anytime!
