Relax with the whole family at our newly renovated lake house on Twin Lakes! Our home has 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths, perfect for families and solo travelers alike!

Hang out and grill on the deck overlooking the lake, or go down to the water and relax while your kids play in the sandbox or swing set. Take the kayak or paddleboat out through the calm and quiet water of Big Twin Lake. Bring your fishing gear -- Twin Lakes has smallmouth, northern, panfish and others, all in a quiet and uncrowded setting.

Enjoy full access to the property, including the 1000 sq foot house, large deck, over an acre of green space, and 100 ft of frontage on the water!

Just 10 minutes from the bustle of Big Green Lake, and its bars and restaurants. 15 minutes to the renowned Golf Courses of Lawsonia. Bring your ATV or snowmobile to enjoy the over 150 miles of trails around the Green Lake area.

Very nice get away cottage especially with 2 Bathrooms! Very up to date , cozy feeling, nice deck area , all you need is there . Host is very nice , friendly and helpful.Available to answer any questions or concerns. We had a very nice time !!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay! The home and property were just lovely. The kitchen has everything you could ever hope for, and it was amazing to have toys and baby supplies like a pack and play and high chair available as well! The beds were super comfy and each room was a great size. The property is gorgeous and we wish we had more time to enjoy it. Liz is incredibly responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back again!

We so appreciated this quiet place off the beaten path but not too far from town to get our groceries and other staples for the weekend. We found everything as described in the listing and Liz was great to work with and very responsive to our text messages when we had questions! We didn't have our usual toddler companion with us on this trip, but appreciated that there were toys, a high chair and other necessities available to use, had we needed them. We look forward to a return stay next time we visit Ripon!

Wonderful, peaceful stay!

House was well equity and clean. Like being in a treehouse with all the nature surrounding it. Bedrooms were dark and cozy, but tons of light in the living room and kitchen. We rented paddle boards close by, on Green Lake and had a great trip.

Family Time

We appreciated the peacefulness of the area and enjoyed the use of the paddle boat and kayak. It is just a short drive to Green Lake where we rented a pontoon and enjoyed most of our dinners. Liz communicated with us well and in a timely manner.

We stayed at the cottage over 4th of July weekend. Our initial reservation was rejected because the price hadn’t been adjusted to holiday pricing but we went ahead and booked it anyway. The cottage was in a quiet area, not far from Green Lake and Ripon. We were disappointed that the fire pit area was completely overgrown with huge plants/weeds as was the area around the dock, which wasn’t very inviting. I did notice a Solo stove on the last night but we didn’t use it. The water pressure was really low. The internet was very fast. Both my my husband and I tried to sit in the lounge chairs on the deck and the cushions were internally wet and soaked through our clothing. There weren’t chairs down by the lake and we didn’t feel like there was anywhere outside we wanted to hang out. Despite some of the negatives, we still had a nice stay. I don’t like to come across as nitpicky or rude, but we didn’t feel we got our money’s worth.

Im sorry to hear this, Keriann! We are consistently one of the most affordable waterfront homes in the area, and we strive to have families have 5 star stays. With our two lounge chairs plus brand new dining table and chairs, our deck area is usually one of the highlights for people's stays! The solo stove is right there on the patio and highlighted in our house manual, but Im sorry you didnt see it until the last night. We keep extra chairs both inside the shed and inside the storage bin next to the fire pit, also highlighted in the house manual. I wish you would have messaged me so I could have helped during your stay! I will definitely get our lawn crew to address the weeds by the dock and get the water pressure addressed.

Lake House Getaway

Our family had a great time at the lake house! Liz was very quickly responsive to any questions we had. We really enjoyed all the toys for the kids and using the kayak on the lake. The house was clean and well stocked. We had so much fun on our Labor Day weekend getaway!

Check in was very easy. House was very nice and clean. The golf cart was great to take up and down incline to pier. Deck was very spacious. And the Solo burner was great outside. Kids loved the swing set. Stove didn’t heat up very well. Microwave didn’t work. Lamps in the bedroom didn’t work. Breakfast table stools were a bit wobbly. We couldn’t get the dishwasher to work. A few adjustments and I would have given a rating of 5.

Thank you for a lovely stay, Mary! I wish you would have mentioned these items not working! Our house manual explains how the bedroom lights are a touch light and the microwave and dishwasher can be reset with a switch. We will definitely highlight that more clearly and give the stools a look!

The property is on a very steep hill which you have to go up and down on to get to the lake, which was all mucky. Some of the out let’s inside the house needed the breakers reset all the time. There are 2 bathrooms which is a plus, and we found the beds comfortable.

Im sorry to hear you had trouble with the hill and outlets! Yes, the Hillside Hideaway is on a hill, but we do allow you to use the golf cart to go up and down if needed. We always give info on how to access it in the House Manual sent ahead of time. Thanks for staying at our home, we hope the rest of your stay was 5 stars!
