Wonderful home with plentiful amenities. Great location on island and communication with owner was superb. Only complaint was that we paid extra for a heated pool and didn’t get to use it, bummer!

This was the perfect villa for our get away.We couldn't fault a thing ! The house is beautiful. It has everything we needed- so much crockery, utensils , cups and glasses and all the thoughtful things like hairdryers , towels, games and more , which all saves on suitcase room. The location was superb for exploring , the views were stunning and the house was amazing. The house was so clean and the gardens and pool are obviously well looked after . If there wasn't so much of this amazing island to explore, we would have been happy just to stay at the house all the time. It literally has all you need. The hosts were brilliant too - they were responsive, answered all questions and communication was greatWe are so sad this holiday is over , but we really hope to return in the not too distant future , and this villa is the place we would always go back to. No other holiday will ever compare to this one .

Having stayed in many villas in the local area, this was by far the best value for money villa we have stayed in. Great view from well appointed outside space, great pool, comfy beds, and wants for nothing with regard to all other amenities. Will definitely stay here again.

This Villa is the best VRBO that we have ever stayed at. Every part of the Villa was amazing. The view was spectacular. It was well worth the little extra to heat the pool. The kitchen was well appointed. The owners do their best to give their guests a lot of options for activities in the area. The location was always in the sunshine despite the micro climates around the island. Also the location was an easy drive to the beach, groceries, cliff top views, PR hikes and any exploring desired. The island of Madeira is amazing.

We enjoyed a lovely week at Casa das Flores. A spacious, well equipped and clean villa in a stunning location. The outside space and pool were great and the views outstanding. Madeira is such a beautiful island we will definitely return.

Wonderful stay

Excellent location, breathtaking views, comfortable home, extremely well equipped with superb pool! Short drive to shops & restaurants, couldn’t have asked for more.

Very nice house, well equipped, just a bit cold in the winter, if the weather is poor. The fireplace and the the extra heaters were very helpful.

This is an excellent luxury villa, with a large pool, great garden and good facilities. You do need a car as there is very little in walking distance, but it is only 10 minutes to Calheta and the drive is easy. The kitchen was very well equipped, and all the furnishing are of a high standard. The nearest decent supermarket is 30 mins drive, but it is again easy to find. There a many great walks you can drive to within 30 mins but not too much on the doorstep. The host was excellent and communication very clear. Given the weather in Maderia, you do need to have the pool heated, it isn't cheap but is a necessity, so factor that into the costs. We loved the table tennis table, spin bike and weights in the garage. we didn't know they would be there and its one of the things we really appreciated, so we hope they will remain available in future. We would highly recommend this Villa and hope to go back in the future.

Fabulous holiday accommodation

My daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Casa das Flores. The house is amazing, set in beautiful grounds. Lovely pool, very private. Arco da Calheta is a perfect, central yet quiet holiday base to explore Madeira. The ocean view is just breathtaking!Great contact with the owners before travel. Super efficient check-in etc. We‘d love to stay again.

A great house in a wonderful location. Everything was perfect.However, few things in the house could use replacing/upgrading, as they are no longer in perfect working order. Otherwise, we had a very good time at Casa das Flores. The handover also went smoothly. We will gladly return on our next visit.

Just WOW!The property is everything the description says, with endless reviews to back it all up! Beautiful rooms and layout. Lovely big (heated) pool. Plus the truly stunning view across the Atlantic that glows like a painting with each sunset.Communication was excellent throughout, with lots of useful information available at the villa. The welcome basket of treats was very useful before we got some shopping in.A car (with Sat Nav) is a must. The driveway is very steep and takes a bit of getting used to ... as do the equally steep surrounding roads. But it is worth it. A few nice nearby cafes, a lovely fusion restaurant (Melton's Kitchen) and a very useful mini supermarket (an Amanhecer shop - 9370-702) a short drive away that has everything you need.All-in-all, a perfect break away from the rat race ... and one that we will be returning to in a couple of years for sure!
