This was a perfect location and residence to stay for a wedding. The layout of the house allowed large gathering areas, as well as secluded areas. There were many entertainment amenities as shown in the listing. Beds and bathrooms clean and comfortable.The host was great from the start. Simple instructions, checked in regularly during our stay, recommendations for food in the area.I was most impressed with prompt response to supply needs. I messaged more paper towels would be needed (1 roll for 10 ppl/4days is not enough) within an hour it was delivered to the front door!

Great House For Big Reunion

This house was great for the size of our party. It also has a big space downstairs that was great for the kids to play and give space to the parents! The host was very prompt with responses to questions and helped out a lot.

Spectacular Place!!

Pictures do not do this house justice. It was incredibly clean, very organized and well stocked. We loved staying there as a family, it provided a great place for us to gather together. Wonderful kitchen, and a dining room that we could all sit around and enjoy a meal together. Highly recommend this place to stay!!!

Wrestling weekend

Excellent place to stay near Indy!! This home has much much space and fantastic amenities. Would highly recommend this property. It’s very clean, has a lot of space! Their are game a and many tv’s!! Wonderful location in nice area!!

Great location and area!

Close to Indy + Avon is a town with lots of food choices. We were in town for the Colts game and getting to and from the stadium was great. The house is perfect with plenty of space to hang out but room for everyone to have peace and quiet, too. The host was always quick to respond and helpful!

Great Accommodations!

The house was great-clean, spacious and in a great location. We met our three children and their families (for a total of 14) for a late summer get-together. Everything was very nice. We appreciated the accommodations and would definitely stay here again!!! Thank you!

FFA trip

The house worked great for our trip. Had plenty of room for 11 HS kids and 3 adults. Game room was a hit and kept them busy for hours. Very quiet peaceful neighborhood close to food and shopping. Short drive to Indy where most of our events were held.

Weekend wedding

The property has all amenities needed during the stay. The owner pays attention to details that provide full service to the costumers. The cleanliness and neatness of the house made our stay comfortable and relaxing. We all had a great weekend. Thank you for everything.

What an amazing place!!

We rented this fabulous property to attend our nephew's wedding reception. We had a large group traveling in from multiple cities/states. Check-in was seamless and communication with the owner was quick and efficient. The beds were comfortable and the place was very roomy. One of the places the group enjoyed the most was the basement. We shared so many laughs and we had plenty of space for everyone. We cooked our meals in the kitchen and had the items needed to prepare/serve. We would highly recommend this place for anyone, but it does accommodate a large group. If we're back in the area, we would stay here again. Thanks for opening your beautiful home, we truly enjoyed the stay!

Very Spacious, exceeded our expectations!!

We booked our stay somewhat last minute for a conference, not knowing what to expect. When we arrived, we were all pleasantly surprised at what we found in our home for the week. The house is huge with lots of sleeping spaces and common areas for lounging. The downstairs amenities were a huge plus for our group to relax and recover from long days downtown networking. Communicating with Mike was easy and convenient, and the check-in/out process was by far the easiest I have ever had. We have consistently stayed downtown for conferences, but staying a short drive out has proven to be a win/win for us. Lots of local dining options and things to do close by, and much more cost-effective than downtown lodging. We will definitely consider this house again in the future.

Great place for extended family stay and IU graduation

Our entire family joins me in praising this home. We flew to Indiana from three locations to see a graduation from Indiana University in Bloomington. There are almost no hotels anywhere Bloomington. We were resigned to staying in three hotel rooms in Indy when we found this home. Both this home and Indy are about 70 minutes from the campus.This place has lots of space for our big family, Clean, modern, super quiet. Great condition. Comfy beds. Fully equipped kitchen.One of the owners is an artist and it showed, with many tasteful paintings.The kiddie play set in back was popular with the 6 and 9 year old. Restaurants and commercial services are nearby. The host was very accommodating. Highly recommended.

In a fair and honest review, I would have to say while the house seemed nice, it lacked some basic expectations and led to a disappointing stay. (Non-working TV in main room, insufficient bath linens, kitchen ice maker not working, not enough dishware/silverware for the number of guests, broken deck chair etc.) We were happy to make other accommodations for these. However, the “mystery bug bites” that appeared on two of the adult family members after sleeping in the beds we could not overlook. Host was notified. He had an inspection done after he had the house cleaned. We were informed days later no bed bugs were found.

The official inspection found no evidence of bed bugs anywhere in the home, and the full report was shared directly with VRBO. We take every concern seriously and always respond quickly to ensure guest safety and comfort. We take the cleanliness and comfort of our guests extremely seriously, and our long track record of 5-star reviews reflects that commitment. At the same time, it’s important to note that your stay resulted in several damaged items (including a broken chair and pool table pocket) and multiple holes in the walls from curtains that were installed without permission. These damages have been fully documented and reported to VRBO for resolution. Our home continues to receive excellent reviews for cleanliness, comfort, and guest experience, and we remain committed to maintaining the highest hospitality standards for every visitor. Wonderful property!

Everything was seamless, from our check in until we walked out and locked the door. It was a cousin’s weekend. The house was very nicely furnished. We were pleasantly surprised at the amount, and quality of the amenities. Wow! Not only did they have a Keurig, but a variety of coffee (leaded and unleaded), tea, cocoa, apple cider, creamer, etc. They had a Ninja Blender (we didn’t use it), nice pans, utensils and even some extra pantry items. I was a few tablespoons short on flour making biscuits and gravy one morning, and they had it. The kids had a ball playing with the giant connect four, foosball, and the play equipment outside. We could watch a variety of movies, either upstairs with a wonderfully huge sectional, or downstairs in the theater room. We ate, laughed, sprawled out, played cards for hours and just enjoyed our time together. We had to contact Mike a couple of times with some questions, and he was very quick to respond. There were 12 of us (10 adults and 2 kids) and we had plenty of room. We would not hesitate for a minute to stay here again, or recommend it. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We loved it!

Four families met here to stay for a wedding happening at Avon Gardens. It’s hard to find a place that can adequately accommodate eight adults and nine children, but this place seemed like it would work. We got here and were absolutely blown away by how perfect this was for our needs. The youngest child we had just turned three years old so we didn’t need to use the provided crib, baby toys, baby gates, or highchair, but it was absolutely amazing that everything was there and ready for traveling with children. Having four different common areas in the house to mingle and two separate areas outside for people to mingle was the best thing ever. No one felt like they were on top of each other, and everyone could break away into smaller groups to have conversations or play games, or have personal quiet time. It was seriously so fantastic because the school age children were outside playing on the playset and sitting on the chairs that were at the fire pit, and the teenagers were able to sit on the deck and talk and not feel like the little kids were in their space. The kitchen had the essentials we needed, to cook our meals. Everything in the house was so clean and set up perfectly. Both tables had seating for 8, it was so nice! Communication with the host was friendly and attentive but not overbearing, it was honestly great. We’ve had vacation homes in Key West, Florida; San Antonio, Texas; Red Rock, Wisconsin and Indianapolis, but everyone voted this as hands -down the best!
