We absolutely loved staying here! The place was just as pictured and described; very tastefully decorated, clean, secluded and quiet, everything you need to cook, and the overlook was indescribable! It rained most of the time we were here, but we had a very relaxing weekend!

We enjoyed our stay in this peaceful spot! Home is well stocked with everything you will need. Beautiful views and fresh mountain air! The hosts were very responsive any time I needed to check in.

Can’t imagine a more perfect base camp for hiking in Dolly Sods. Highly recommend.

Home away from home

We loved how close it was to Dolly Sods. It was a bumpy drive up to the house but the Moose Knob cabin had everything we needed to unwind after a long day hiking. It was very clean and well outfitted.

Cozy cabin close to Dolly Sods

Cozy, renovated cabin with all the essentials and lovely firepit. Secluded but within 30mins drive of Dolly Sods. Highly reccomended

This cabin was fantastic. It was very clean (our toddler was crawling all over and her pants didn’t turn grey haha), and it had everything we needed. The location was great. I highly recommend an suv or truck to get up to it just because it is a dirt road and a bit bumpy in spots, but we didn’t have to use our 4wd. Communication with the host was also wonderful. I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

Quiet/great mountain getaway

Well appointed. Quiet and secluded location. Close to dolly sods and Seneca rocks. Great views from the overlook. Nice quiet path for walking. Well equipped kitchen. Great internet. Magical area of west Va. we will be back.

We enjoyed our stay at Moose Knob Cabin, especially the cleanliness, shared space, kitchen setup, comfortable bed, privacy. The online description is target on. Advice: Be sure to consult with the Host(s) to ensure that your car is road worthy for 1 mile on Panther Road that would not be negotiable for all cars.

the property was very cute and clean ! I did however have to self clean the oven twice . Panther road was pretty rough on my little car lots of bumps and dips but we just went slowly. Loved the front porch and enjoyed watching a nest of baby birds being fed then encouraged to leave the nest, by both parents. there were neighbors within earshot and view that I wasn't expecting and the overlook which was stunning was shared by others A few days of our 10 days stay were interrupted by neighbors using heavy machinery and a noisy dirt bike ... plenty to do in the area over all it was hard to leave moose knob

The cabin was pretty much the same as the pictures and descriptions. Close to a lot of excellent places. I would definitely stay here again. As mentioned… go to the viewing platform. There are some neighborsk, but still secluded.
