This was our second visit to The Bear’s Den, and it was perfect for our Labor Day mini-vacation. Our only glitch was with the entry and log-in information sent from the management company, but it was an easy fix.

Perfect location to access Leadville and all the wonderful surrounding outdoor activities. Our kids loved the pool table and all the wood decoration throughout the cabin. We (parents) loved the deck and view of the serene lake. This property is really well put together and is stocked with everything you need for a home away from home.

Great location, spacious and well stocked. WiFi was not great, often paused while watching TV. But otherwise was good stay and very quiet and peaceful.

This house is lovely! Well stocked kitchen and everything we needed for a relaxing stay; plenty of blankets, games, beds, etc. The views were incredible and location to Ski Cooper was close and easy. The host reached out the morning we were checking in and asked if we needed anything. We would definitely return!

Great place for ski trip!

Very close to Ski Cooper, and a very peaceful place to stay at! I would highly recommend the Bear's Den if skiing anywhere nearby to Leadville!

Lovely Bears Den

This was the perfect gathering space for our family get-together. We loved the beautiful view and proximity to hiking, fishing, and Leadville’s attractions. A very comfortable stay.

Very nice rental.

The property was great. Even better than advertised. Only downside was mosquitoes, but that’s a feature of the location.

Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. While mosquitos are an issue in this neighborhood due to the lakes, this year is significantly worse because of the moisture from this years large amount of snowfall. The neighborhood is addressing the issue and spraying for them.

Great place

This place was great. Plenty of room and amazing view. The only challenge was that there was significant and loud construction one house over which limited ability to enjoy time outside

Beautiful New Place with Sunrise view

Our family loved the decor, cleanliness, location, grill, location, owners and realty company. Very attentive to all our needs and we felt right at home there. No disappointments at all!

Fantastic cabin in the woods

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bear's Den. It exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect spot for our family. Love the open kitchen and living room, with a view over the lake. I could imagine enjoying this in any season. We'll be back!

The vacation rental was the perfect family-friendly spot with breathtaking lake views and wildlife from the balcony. Attention to comfort and everything was in order for our arrival. The host thoughtfully provided games making the stay memorable. Highly recommend!

Bear’s Den Review

The property and location were great! The view was outstanding and more than we expected! The centralized location allowed for a few excursions as well as some good hiking. The pillows could use and upgrade, though. Overall, we had a wonderful time.
