Terrific stay at this well appointed cabin. Our first time back the SBLL since the mountain reopened last year. Was like coming back home.

Saddleback Lake Lodge

Great location in a wonderfully welcoming community of folks who have had a connection to SLL for years. We were there for a wedding and found this lodge to be centrally located, tidy, warm, and with great views of the lake. Would recommend without reservation.

Quick Family Getaway

The property accommodated our needs for a quiet last minute getaway. The community was quiet with great views and everyone enjoyed watching the kids have fun jumping off the dock. Would gladly go back!

Very Pleasant and Peaceful

My family enjoyed being on Rangeley Lake and loved the cabin. Very comfy and had all the amenities expected. Appliances were easy to use and sleeping arrangements convenient for the group. A second bathroom or at least a 1/2 bath would be a great addition as we were a large group.

Nicely located for skiing or snowmobiling, beautiful view looking across the lake at saddleback mountain. The cabin was very comfortable and warm and the kitchen well set up for making meals and dining. I would like to make this an annual event.

This cozy, rustic cabin was perfect for us. We're a young couple in spirit, both 78, in area to ski and snowshoe. The cabin was within 15 minutes of both, on a lake and looking across at Saddleback. No updates here, but everything worked. Beds comfortable.

Warm, clean and lovely. Served our desires to ski, skate and hike perfectly. I was amazed there was no cribbage board of intact deck of cards. My bad for not bringing my own. We will be happy to return.

Fit the Bill Perfectly!

This cabin was absolutely perfect for our 2 families (4 adults, 3 kids). We came to ski and so we brought food and pre-made dinners to make life easy. The kitchen had everything we needed -- even muffin tins and cookie sheets. Had the basic spices too. The dining table is really best for 6 people but we made it work for 7. There is a little heating unit that warmed the whole place up fast- a real treat after being outside all day. Plenty of space to recline and read at night. Kids played games up in the loft. We were worried about one bathroom with so many of us, but it really was no problem at all. The views of Saddleback Mountain and the lake right from the living area were spectacular!! We'd love to come back in the summertime to explore!

Great place to stay on the lake

We really enjoyed our stay. We were lucky enough to get fresh snow the night before and were able to cross country ski when we arrived in the afternoon right out of the cottage. Nice view of Saddleback Ski area. Nice cottage. Had everything we needed. .

Cabin with a View

Cabin was a bit dated but the view of the lake and Saddleback Mountain made it worth it! Kitchen is narrow and there is only one bathroom however everyone was able to sleep comfortably between the two bedrooms and loft area. The living room and dining area are open with lots of seating so everyone can enjoy each other’s company.

Camp was neat and clean. Had a nice week. Bathroom could use some updating and dishwasher has seen better days. The Saddleback site is still a great place to visit. Regards Gerard

Gem on Saddleback Lake

Awesome, unpretentious, lodge. Perfect for skiing at Saddleback, 12 minutes away. Cozy, great for families. Excellent value. Loved this place!

Perfect cabin, beautiful location.

Our family of four has spent one glorious week on Saddleback Lake for 11 out of the past 13 years. We love the tradition of being on a lake with no motor boats, on expansive grounds that have allowed our children to play freely. We enjoy walks, playing tennis, swimming from the sandy beach to the raft and rowing, canoeing or kayaking. We love the company of others staying in nearby cabins as well. SLL 19 has a great layout, plentiful sleeping accommodations, a well equipped kitchen and a nice view. A week on SLL is a great way to relax and stay active at your own pace. It's a tradition I hope to maintain for years to come!
