This was the perfect cozy retreat for our girls weekend away. We could walk to restaurants, easily drive to nearby lakes, and just relax on the deck by the lake. We enjoyed mornings, afternoons and evenings watching boats come and go through the canal and just soaking up the most perfect weather we could have asked for. Ralph was the nicest host! He was there to greet us and show us around the property and answered any questions we had. The bunks were a little creaky, so be prepared if you have an active sleeper, someone who gets up often, or a light sleeper in your group. Could have used a little bit of a deep cleaning to get rid of the cobwebs and dead bugs.Otherwise, it was a great little house with all the amenities, loads of parking and the perfect place for the 6 of us to reconnect and relax. Thank you, Ralph and family for allowing us to use your lake home for the weekend!

Beautiful relaxing view.
We thoroughly enjoy our mid-week stay on Big Barbee, with a small group of friends & family. We rented a pontoon from Socks Marina, for early morning fishing at Barbee & Irish Lake. The local restaurants were within walking distance. Thank you so much!
