It was a great place for a girl’s weekend. Close to everything. Loved the private patio and grill. We would have had a campfire but it was too hot. Beds were very comfortable!!

Very clean, cozy and great location to Mt. Lacrosse Ski Hill. The feel of the place was great. Should promote it as the “Captains Quarter’s”. Will stay again and recommend to my friends.

The property was great to stay at and the owners were amazing as well. It was just a short drive to everything from hiking to ice cream on Pearl Street in La Crosse. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean and comfortable stay

We visited for 2 nights in July and had a very comfortable stay. We enjoyed the accommodations of the kitchen and grill out back that had a lot of what we needed to have breakfast & dinner at our stay. All amenities were reliable and well-supplied. Thanks!

Big River Rally 2025

Great little place just off the main highway. Easy to find and ready for a relaxing weekend. We had 4 people and everyone fit great. Plenty of parking for all the bikes and a shower to wash all the bugs and road debris off from the 700 miles we put on. Will be back soon.

Couldn't Be Better

Perfect for our use. Clean, neat, quiet small town yet close enough to bigger town. My adult son and I found it to be exactly the way it was promoted. If there a sixth star in the ratings, it still wouldn't be enough.

Captains quarters

Small but cute and clean house. No stove. No extra amenities, like bottled water, maybe some ice, so if you are planning a stay here, you need to bring everything you need from A-to-Z, you’re getting a bad. The only reason I say this is because we have, a vacation rental in Stoddard where we have stayed several times, they have bottled water, ice ground Coffee, K cups, dishes for your dogs and a wonderful covered patio, and the fridge often has condiments and extras, they just go over
