What a wonderful retreat! This is the place to go for peace and relaxation. The setting is as advertised and so much more. The house feels like a home. It’s spacious and filled with charm, and has updates in all the right places. The property is exceptionally well maintained and the mountain, pond and wildlife views will make you want to stay.

Property well maintained, Cleanliness was Superb. Contacting the host was awesome as well. I couldn't ask for a better place, it was so Peaceful and Serene. Loved the property, Hot tub. Can't say enough good things about being here.. Used the fireplace, soaked in the fabulous tub. Will definitely put in a return stay.

The house was beautiful and very well maintained. The scenery is gorgeous and we loved how cozy everything felt. Kelly the owner is amazing and very on top of things.

I have traveled quite a bit and this house by far was the cleanest I have stayed in addition to the spectacular Mountain Views you can’t beat for the price! The owners thought of everything from updating the house to furnishing and windows overlooking the property. It was so peaceful and a great weekend to just relax and re-set!

This place is a beautiful & very clean house. The views are amazing. Pond was lovely to walk around and the hot tub was relaxing. Kelly goes above and beyond to help you feel welcome in your stay. Responses promptly with any questions. We hope to return soon.

My wife and I stayed after riding the Potomac Eagle. Perfect place for our little getaway. Clean house. Nice porch and updated kitchen. We didn’t have time to use the hot tub but it looked nice! Great communication!

This home was so beautiful, clean, peaceful and quiet. It was exactly what we needed for a quick weekend visit to ride the train. The hosts, John and Kelly, were extremely friendly and helpful and welcoming and accommodating. Will be booking again. We absolutely loved the character of this home.

What a lovely home!!! This remodeled farmhouse is fabulous!! Cozy and inviting, with modern upgrades and every convenience. If you’re coming to Romney for a train ride or other function, you can’t find a better location. So peaceful. We loved it!! The beds are beautiful and comfortable. The bathroom is gorgeous!! Absolutely perfect!!

Rustic charm meets luxury. We stayed here the night before a ride on the Potomac Eagle Scenic Train and it was perfect. The architecture is very charming and the tasteful updates, specifically the expansive bathroom, really added a sense of luxury to the experience. The place was incredibly clean and welcoming. If we ever find ourselves looking for a place to stay near Romney again, we will definitely be back!

Furniture was comfortable, kitchen had many amenities. Beautiful quiet setting, loved hearing the potamac eagle train from across the river. Check in was easy, and host made sure we were comfortable. Great stay!

This is a wonderful home. Very welcoming and wonderful hosts! The grandbabies asked when we could come back again! We would definitely love to have another visit!
