The cottage is great. Lots of room and very clean. It was fully stocked with everything that we needed and very well organized. The check in process was easy. We were sent a code for the front door and it worked perfectly. Location is ideal on beautiful Brandy Lake and just minutes from the town of Port Carling where there is shoping and dining. We were there for a 3 day/2 night golf trip and there are many fabulous golf courses within easy driving distance. The weather was a little to cool for us to take advantage of the lake and kayaks but the equipment was all there waiting for us to use. We would all strongly recommend this property.

This property suited our family getaway perfectly.We enjoyed fishing from the dock and canoe.Kayaking was also a hit with my grandson and daughters.There’s lots of areas to sit and chat and catch up.We had a great time!

Wonderful weekend on the water

Place was clean, had all the amenities, and lived up to expectations. Our extended family of 8 enjoyed our weekend in Port Carling and look forward to returning in the summer!

Beautiful property

The location was gorgeous with a lot of activities both indoor and outdoor. The host was very nice and communicative. Definitely would come back!

Great place to relax!

Staying here was great! Very relaxing. Have multiple separated areas which I thought it was great such as game room, living room and the kitchen.

Lakeside retreat

Enjoyed our stay from start to finish. Property owner was very responsive throughout and extended the check out time for us. Great location, only thing to note was that the cottage is located along a busy road, but we barely heard any noise from cars. Would book again!

Relaxing time away….

Overall, we are very impressed with our stay. It was very clean and spacious with a variety of amenities to enjoy our time. My family loved taking out the kayaks and going around the lake and the swimming was great. Everything we needed was provided, which made the stay even better. I would definitely got back :)

Beautiful cottage

The cottage is gorgeous, l've alreadyrecommended it to many. Thank you Edwin my friends and I had an amazing time I wish I had taken it for a week instead of three days we are already planning for next summer.

3 day Muskoka trip

My family would like to thank the hosts for having the place so clean and prepared with all the amenities you can think of to make our stay comfortable. The cottage is so spacious and the lake view is picturesque! The location of the cottage is very convenient as it's only 5 min away from Port Carling town centre. We all had a blast and will definitely return. Thanks again:)

Family Getaway

Beautiful property. Great set up for a large family. Ensuite bathroom is a real plus. Wet clean. Host replied promptly. Ours was a winter get away so you have to drive everywhere. Late check in and early check out tough with young kids. Would be a fun place in summer close to the water.

2 Family Weekend stay

This listing is a fabulous value. The location is easy to reach being right off the road. The kitchen had everything we could have needed. We were 3 couples and 2 small children and everyone had lots of comfortable space. The cottage did not have Air Conditioning. Our weekend was not particularly hot, so it was not an issue for us.

We recently stayed at this property and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Upon arrival, the home was not clean, and we had to spend a significant amount of time cleaning before we felt comfortable settling in. The bathrooms in particular needed attention, which was unexpected for a short-term rental.We also encountered issues with the oven, which did not function properly, making it difficult to prepare meals. Additionally, the property was extremely hot, and we were unable to adjust the temperature—it's unclear whether the thermostat was not working.We did reach out to the host during our stay and provided photos to show the condition of the home. While communication was acknowledged, no resolution or compensation (such as a cleaning fee refund) was offered, which was disappointing given the circumstances.Overall, the property has potential, but the cleanliness, maintenance issues, and lack of resolution impacted our stay.
