We visited in June. Six adults and four children. Amazing house and a great poolarea which was great in the heat:).Several areas outdoors for eating/hanging out. Well equipped kitchen.Great location. 10-20 min away from several lovely villages.Would definitely recommend!

Great week!

We loved the villa. Daytimes were hot so we laid low by the pool and did villages in evening. Great location and facilities.

Super location with great views. Accommodation fulfilled our family of 15’s requirements. Pool was amazing, if a little chilly on first entering, with masses of recliners for the whole group. No need for early morning towel dash!Kitchen was very well equipped except for the lack of table knives. (Only 16!) Air conditioners in all bedrooms worked well. Outdoor table was great. There are however many flights of steps. Fine for us but anyone with walking disabilities would struggle.Local restaurants very good.Overall an excellent experience

Beautiful views

Stunning, peaceful location, lovely views, weather was perfect, with a very welcome breeze up in the mountains. Property was large and the outside spaces meant that despite being in a large party we were all able to get some private time when needed

Fantastic property in a perfect location.

Beautiful, large house in a perfect setting. So much to do nearby. Very nice host. Incredibly friendly property manager. We made mozzarella and orechiette at the house....amazing. Grazie mille!

Scenic and well managed

This was a very memorable experience for us as a family. We found the owners very helpful. The property was clean and well maintained. There was a zoo safari close to the property which we all enjoyed as a family. A good pizzaria close by and in walking distance. Interesting garden and relaxing pool area.

Fabulous

Just as described. Superb pool area and facilies. Not far from many activities for children and interesting sites for adults. Top terrace with tuc-tuc bar and lounge area for evenings ..a real bonus. Only needs a pizza oven.!

Fabulous stay at Villa Silvana

We had a wonderful week at Villa Silvana. We were 3 families with 4 children 2years and under. Prior to our stay all questions were answered promptly. And during our stay Enza looked after all our needs with great care. And she delivered delicious cannelloni and world best tiramisu.

Excellent place to stay

We are a 3 generation family of 14 who stayed here, and found it excellent. The actual property is comfortable, clean, well equipped, good bedrooms and bathrooms, good mix of all being together but bedroom layout gives family and children their own space. Pool wonderful, and we enjoyed the terrace with the bar. It's in a great location, with a fantastic view down to the sea, and near the hilltop towns like Locorotondo and Ostuni. 25 minutes to beaches. The property manager Enza was always very helpful and responsive. We had a meal cooked by her and her mum, delicious and recommended.

beautiful puglia

i had the most wonderful time staying at villa silvana, first of all the hosts sue and michael are incredibly welcoming and could not do enough for me during my stay, giving me detailed information on the surounding area including what is a must see. the villa itself is spectacular and has the most amazing views and a real feel of serenity and total relaxation. the pool is a welcome relief as almost all villas do not have one in italy. i loved my stay there and am planning to return. and i havent even mentioned the food!

We had an amazing stay at this property with a group of 14 people across four families. The layout was perfect, giving everyone plenty of space to enjoy time together while also allowing for privacy when needed.The location was excellent for exploring the area and made it easy to drive to nearby attractions and other towns. Nikki was very communicative before our arrival, and Enza was absolutely wonderful throughout our stay—helpful, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. We did pasta making and had the private chef, for extremely memorable meals. The views are truly unmatched and were one of the highlights of our trip. The pool was large, clean, and beautiful, providing a great place for both adults and kids to relax. We also appreciated the excellent air conditioning in all of the bedrooms, especially during the warmer days.The only minor issue was that the Wi-Fi could be a bit inconsistent at times. It wasn’t a major concern for our group, but it’s something future guests should be aware of. This might be because of the location in the mountains. Overall, this was a fantastic stay, and we would happily return.

Our stay at villa

Beautiful area- really need to have car- we did not- 1 towel per person - they charge extra for more towels - there are 4 cats hanging there and they are always trying to get in villa and want food- the weather turned cold - we were freezing for 2 days and they wanted to charge us 50 euros a day for heat- no bar soap or shampoo- it is not safe to drink water -drinking water should be provided-

We are saddened that this guest did not fully enjoy the villa. We felt we had gone the extra mile or 2 in organising trips, chef meals and a cooking lesson to try and give them a good experience. We had accommodated 3 changes in dates at no extra cost over 3 years and gave a discount when several guest dropped out. This is a holiday home and guest usually fend for themselves with toiletries etc - hand soap is provided in all bathrooms and starter toilet rolls. It is also fairly out of the way and I had advised guest several times the need for a car and even offered to obtain one for her but it was declined. This is Southern Italy and water is not mains So bottled water is usually well known to travellers but we will take this comment on board and ensure a few starter bottles of water are available. VRBO website clearly states heating can only be supplied out of season. And this would be charged to the guests prior to arrival. As this is in season we had offered to supply it at a reduced cost or have logs delivered at a small cost. We will amend the website advice to reiterate this. Each guest has 3 towels which has always previously been more than enough the charge was minimal. I’m sorry the guest were troubled by the cats who are wild and clearly came near the villa for warmth.

BEST HOLIDAY EVER!!

Thank you so much for a fantastic holiday. My partner and I so needed a break and we were ecstatic when we found your appartment. Not only were the views breathtaking, the weather amazing but the appartment was gorgeous, peaceful and I could tell looked after and loved. I also loved having an almost private pool and being able to sit up on the terrace with a bottle of wine and looking out at the mountains and view of the sea It was really just what we needed! I will definately be back and have already told my friends about you. Thank you so much again!!!

The house is located in a beautiful location outside Fasano and close to Locorotondo. Up in the hills with gorgeous views. We loved going for a run and taking in the scenery. The house was also a great jumping off point for day trips all around Puglia. The house overall was spread out nicely for a large amount of people and gave everyone enough space to feel comfortable. The 2 outdoor spaces were beautiful and we had many dinners out on the terrace.The pool was also a nice treat and kind of nice having it down below. We had a party of 15 with kids ranging from 10-18. It was great for them, but I think if I had younger children, the layout of the house could be tricky. The house was great for us overall, but it does feel like it needs a bit of maintenance. Some of the pool loungers, railings down the steps, the lighting and the kitchen appliances are a bit tired, and some of the beds squeaky and uncomfortable. I think if they put some effort into getting these areas clean and upgraded a bit, then everything would feel nicer for the price.

Viel tegen ivm achterstallig onderhoud

De conciërge was niet echt vriendelijk. Huis was koud en vochtig, een oven en een gaspit werkten niet. Er stond een koelkast boven die waarschijnlijk 5 maanden niet was gesloten, de h deur kon niet meer dicht door het

We are very sorry the guests did not enjoy their experience. The house was heated and we supplied fuel for the wood burner. There is usually a cost for back up heating but I offered waiver this. The guest did not respond to me. There was sadly quite a lot of damage from these guests

Perfetta vacanza in famiglia

Villa molto bella, con una magnifica piscina. Vista panoramica, provvista di tutto quello che serviva per un gruppo di ben 12 persone. Ottima comunicazione con la proprietaria, Enza, la manager, molto gentile e disponibile, cena ottima cucinata dall’eccellente chef Miriana! (Consiglio vivamente! ). A breve distanza da Polignano, Alberobello, il mare stupendo di Polignano e Monopoli-Capitolo… eccellente!

Ideal Villa

Ideal for a family group of 14. Eight adults and six children aged 2 to 16. Plenty of room for us all, table outside with ample seating. Although the pool is not heated it was an ideal temperature.

Villa Silvana

A wonderful place for a family get together, with family coming from different sides of the world. The pool was wonderful and many happy times were enjoyed there by all the 7 children. Wonderful top terrace for evening drinks with wonderful views. Enza was very good and sorted out any queries

Perfect stay for a Family Reunion

We recently stayed at Villa Silvana for a family reunion with 13 family members from all over the US. We had a great time. The villa is beautiful with plenty of room for everyone. It’s so large we were even able to host a BBQ with all 13 of us plus another 10 or so family members who live in the area. The Puglia is a beautiful part of Italy and there’s so much to do all with very easy day trips of the villa. I’d recommend this house to anyone.

GREAT FAMILY HOLIDAY

we travel to Italy a lot for our holidays and every year all four brothers get together to organize a large family holiday. Of all the villas we've stayed in, This is the best. We felt so at home and so comfortable and there was a lot of us. we had the chef on more than one occasion, the food quality for the price is unbelievable and delicious. there's tons to do in the area and as we were such a big group the owners went out of their way every day to help us book excursions and restaurants. the pool was huge and such fun and the views are mind blowing. loved It.

The perfect villa for a group of families

We spent a week in the luxurious Villa Silvana with 2 other families; there were 6 adults and 8 children in total and we all had a fantastic time without exception. Michael and Sue were very helpful and it is obvious that they have put an awful lot of thought and hard work into making the villa as well equipped and comfortable as possible. The pool area was particularly well used and the views out to the coast are amazing. We had the chef come in and cook for us twice which was well worth doing - she also made lasagna for all the kids on those nights and showed us how to make orecchiette pasta - everything was delicious. I would highly recommend the property to anyone that wants to spend some time exploring Puglia whilst enjoying some luxury accommodation and we will almost certainly return. Thanks Michael and Sue for all your help in ensuring our stay was a memorable one.
