Trekking, mountain bike, Buddhism and more: Walk for miles along ancient tracks and stop to take in the breathtaking scenes that open up in front of you.
Bring your mountain bike if you are the sporty type, or enjoy new free roads among the fields on your motorbike, visit and enjoy birdwatching in the WWF protected natural area of the Lake of S. Luce.
Walk to the local Buddhist Centre of Pomaia and share the spiritual peace of the place for a few hours, or go to the local markets and rediscover what food used to taste like.
Bees, horses and wild nature: Choose your favourite way to live the countryside: help with the “smielatura”, the collection of honey and try some of the scented honey for breakfast; watch our horses being groomed and prepared for a ride; discover wild orchids in the field around the farmhouse; watch the red sun set from your porch sipping a glass of wine; take up painting.

Nestled within the “ Golfo di Baratti “ lays the necropoli etrusca of Populonia, today part of the interesting “Parco Archeologico e Naturalistico.” »link Seaside and Beaches Over 20% of the Costa degli Etruschi comprises parks, protected areas, nature oases, and fauna reserves. Nature is not just a setting, but the very essence of this land with its dense stands of pine trees, woods and countryside rich with colours and scents; a temperate climate throughout the year, with particularly mild springs, long summers and infrequent rainfall during autumn/winter, makes for enjoyable holidays all year round.
