Beautiful place to spend time with the people you love. It was so relaxing there and homey. The hot tub is super nice and the fire pit was perfect.

Tasha and Jerome were great hosts and have a wonderful property. It was very well maintained and had all the amenities we needed. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

I can’t imagine there’d be any other score other than perfect for this delightfully whimsical and retro a-frame cabin paradise. We loved the hot tub (it’s huge by the way, could fit all guests) and the beautiful light the mornings on the lake. It was a very nice touch to have slippers and robes, helpful for the chilly nights headed to the hot tub. We saw turkey vultures and groundhogs which was so fun. I read the entire history of the house and how it remains it it’s original family which is so great. We won’t stay anywhere else in Southern Il now. Margie B’s is it!

lovely surroundings, peaceful, beautiful pond and grounds. A frame was very comfortable and fun decor classic! the owners responded immediately with any questions. cute little town of Anna with fun shops and nice linch spots/coffee shops. hiking was close by. would definitely stay again. we were there from Texas to celebrate with cousins my dads 1938 basketball team being inducted into hall of fame in Johnston City high school. perfect spot…

The property, house and hot tub were very clean. We enjoyed our getaway and would highly recommend this property! It’s close 7 min drive to the nearby town, which is nice if you need anything! The host was great!

Such a cute cabin! We loved the decor and cozy additions. Our kids loved the hot tub and we enjoyed coffee by the water!

This place was an instant favorite! I absolutely LOVED the decor!! Everything was very clean and maintained, and you can tell by the attention to detail that this lodge is very well cared for. All of the furniture and beds were very comfortable! I love that there was plenty of space on each level so that if you have extra guests, everyone has plenty of room (just be sure to stick the tall folks downstairs, the clearance is a bit short when coming down the stairs from the upper level). The basement area was super spacious and had the cutest decorations (I LOVE the retro carpet in the kitchen!) The hosts even had a booklet with the history of the lodge and pictures from when it belonged to their beloved Grandma. This lodge is pretty close to alot of amenities and things to do, but still far out enough to give that rural, private feel. I can't wait until we come back, and we'll stay a couple of extra nights next time!!

We loved everything from the hot tub area to the fire pit area to just relax!! But inside was beautiful and so very unique!! We wish we had stayed much longer! We hope to get back soon!
