Beautiful house at a beautiful location. I have no reason to come back to Montello, but I think I’m going to try just to come and see his house again. The view is phenomenal and so peaceful.

Everything was as described. The host was very responsive. The place itself is very nice. The lake is very weedy and shallow, but it’s a great fishing lake and it’s huge with a lot of area to cover if you have a boat. The town is quaint, but everything you should need is close by.

Great Location

This was the perfect stay to celebrate our anniversary. The property was clean and provided all necessary items. We would love to go back and bring our adult kids next time!

Guys fishing trip

Very nice quiet house on the lake. They neighbors were very friendly. Fishing could of been better but the sunrise from the kayaks was worth it regardless.

End of Summer family getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house! The view was absolutely stunning, and we spent hours just taking it all in. The house was clean and modern with a “lake house” vibe. The kids loved kayaking right from the dock, and we found a great restaurant nearby at Drew’s for dinner. We also took advantage of a beautiful hiking trail just a short drive away. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing family getaway. We can’t wait to return!

Enjoyable Stay

The property was very clean, provided extra towels and bedding/blankets which was nice. They also provided a lot of extras that many rentals do not, including games, basketball, wi-fi, smore pokers, paper plates, shampoo, wood for the fire, etc. The fishing wasnt the greatest, as its pretty green and mucky around the pier but it was still fine. The hot tub was ready to use and was very relaxing. The grill was easy to use and worked great. The only outdoor recommendation I would have is to have lighting for the first wood stairs and the step down to get on the roof of the boat house. Overall, its a really nice space and we would definitely stay there again.
