Absolutely wonderful. In SO many ways
There is so much to love about this house.
It's very spacious.Bedrooms aren't big, but you only sleep there. Rest of the house has space for everything. Several eating areas.
Kitchen is great - it has all you need, plenty of cutlery / plates / etc. (We were family of 5. If we'd had 20 friends round, the place would not have felt crowded)
Views are beautiful.
Pool is excellent. Deep at one end, with diving board. Easy to get in the other end for those not jumping.
The pool house really good. Ideal place for shade, a toilet, a mini kitchen .. wow.
The location really good too. Beach is an easy 15 minute stroll. The local village similar, with several eating places and a couple of simple shops (main shopping in Souniou a 20 min drive away)
Stamatis restaurant is the closest and we felt the best - excellent service, delicious food, and just a few minutes walk.
With all the superlatives above, we're struggling to think of how it could be better. Maybe a couple of things:
1. There was quite a lot of the owner's own stuff in the house, including kitchen/bathrooms, etc. In the fridge it was clearly blocked away in a drawer (looked like medicines) but maybe not so good to leave other medicines just out in the kitchen.
They had left a welcome gift of some honey and breakfast cereals, etc, so it was a little confusing
2. Perhaps a folder saying "this is the house" .. what to do / not do, etc. (Standard in other houses we've been to)
