Great home based location
We came to Cleveland mainly to help move our son back home from his internship, but stayed the extra days to check out as much as possible. This home was a great find, providing a pleasant home base with plenty of room for the 4 of us with temporary storage of his apartment belongings (luckily we didn’t have to provide furniture, but it was still surprising how much he gathered in a year!)
I liked being off a dead-end street, so felt comfortable walking around the neighborhood. Having gas heat was great for the cold nights. And I appreciated just having a code to unlock the doors so I didn’t have to worry about losing a key. We didn’t get to cook in the kitchen since our son wanted to share his favorite restaurants, but we did enjoy being able to reheat any leftovers.
The host was very pleasant to communicate with, including checking with us during our stay to address any concerns - of which we didn’t have any.
As for our stay in Cleveland, we got to hike at the Cuyahoga National Park, saw a couple shows at Playhouse Square, checked out the West Side Market and the Christmas Story House, and also did the walking night of the lights at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Lots of memories and a very good trip.
