My husband and I have been staying at reunion resort for the last 25+ years, we have stayed at condos and houses and this was the first time that we have had problems. The first thing we noticed was that the dryer did not work, because the knob was missing and there was no way to turn it on, we called maintenance and they fixed it promptly. The next problem was the floors were filthy, our white socks and bare feet were black after walking around, I called to report and they said they would let housekeeping know . I called twice about this and no one ever showed up, finally I went to the store and bought cleaning supplies and mopped the entire condo. Next, we noticed that the master bathtub was not just dripping, but the water was actually running so we called maintenance and they did show up and gave us a temporary fix. In addition, there were many lightbulbs that didn’t work, things that were broken, dishes chipped, crystal glasses with cracks, but after calling for all of these problems, I didn’t want to spend my entire vacation giving mantainence an inventory of condos condition. Renters, not owners are paying for housekeeping to clean and notice problems. The mattresses in one of the bedrooms were not fit to sleep on, totally sagging, it didn’t impact us, but just reported in this review. I rely on other reviews and appreciate it. One review just a few months ago commented on the filthy floors and I wasn’t worried- I thought it would be corrected.
