We had a lovely stay in your charming cottage at the Carriage House! We enjoyed the stud barn/museum/food stand immensely! Our only disappointment was not getting an opportunity to talk to anyone on arrival or during our stay for questions, tips and general information.Otherwise, we had a great time driving the beautiful road to Fort Bragg, riding the skunk train, walking the Noyo Beach Trail and exploring the area! We would highly recommend the stay if you're looking for a quiet get away!

Our stay was very nice. Clean and comfortable. We loved the farm stand and all the things about seabiscuit! Host was very responsive and helpful. Would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful view and tastefully decorated. Would encourage the hosts to provide sugar and creamer to go with the coffee / coffee machine.

Wonderful and relaxing place to stay!

This place was great, just what we needed. It rained must of the time, but we still loved it. The carriage house was a fun bonus. There is plenty to do around the area, with great food options in Willits, not to mention the home of Seabiscuit!

The Carriage Cottage was charming and perfectly decorated with Seabiscuit's memories. The stud barn museum was a wonderful way to truly understand the history of the ranch. Great time as we celebrated our 57th anniversary. Thank you!

The cottage was warm, cute, and quiet. We enjoyed our night, but felt strange on the property. It would have been nice to have a note telling us if we could walk around, as we had hoped to do that. Enjoyed the cottage and the pleasant view.

Cottage was quaint, quiet and charming! Very cute inside and the bed was super comfy! Dawn, the host, was great to work with. Seabiscuit's stud barn was informative. Being attached to the carriage house was a neat bonus. Best part was being able to see all the stars in the darkness.

Room cute and clean.Bathroom had NO grab bar in tub.We had to purchase a rubber mat to stay safe.Otherwise, everything satisfactory.

Complete joke. Video of property over sells the property.50 years of deferred maintenance. Would not recommend to anyone. We have stayed at two Verbo properties that were outstanding. This one was a shock. The one picture of the "cottage" is deceiving. Verbo should require the owners of properties to provide multiple pictures so traverlers do not get blindsided.

We are not accustomed to writing "damage control" responses because we have had so much positive feedback about our charming little cottage, from honest people in the past 2 years since we dramatically renovated it. We feel the need to clarify some disingenuous statements from this review for the sake of prospective future renters: Our VRBO posting has always included lots of pictures. We don't have a video and never have. We don't know whose posting this man is referring to. This man did not actually stay at our rental, at the last minute saying he "had to get home." We decided as a courtesy, contrary to the cancellation policy, to offer him a refund of the main portion of the rental fee. We are proud of all the renovation work we have put into our historical spaces and just can't agree that this review is fair.

Seabiscuit

The property was all about the legendary horse Seabiscuit. 16 Thousand acres of horse property, produce farming and wide open spaces with amazing views. The internet was out all 3 days I was there which was inconvenient because I was there to look at property in the area.The room I stayed in was fairly small with a tiny refrigerator, so a longer stay really would be hard to navigate with food and beverages. There's just no place to put food. Also a T.V. would be nice, especially with no internet connection.Also you are in the middle of a community of homes and some apartments with lots of residents and ranch workers. There was one resident who walked by my room several times a day to make sure my dogs were on a leash and saying several times "there are rules here". The room had a nice deck and my dogs and I sat outside a watch the sunset and this is when the resident actually walked onto the deck and complained about the dogs not being on a leash.I guess there's always one of those, and I got the feeling he didn't like the fact that there was a VRBO in his neighborhood.

If you want a nice peaceful location, this is great. The night skies are beautiful. See satellite and shooting star. The unit is a nice, quaint and comfortable. I will return at some point.
