Get away to the Maine outdoors at this house with a view in Caratunk, Maine! Located on a quiet road right off of Route 201 and one tenth mile from the Caratunk Boat Launch on Wyman Lake. The property offers privacy for your Maine getaway. Includes a space to store canoes and kayaks during your stay.

Property includes free Wifi access. TV streaming services have guest accounts for indoor entertainment. While the main room includes a wood stove, it is not intended for guest use. The house thermostats keep the place cozy.

One vehicle can be stored in front of the house. Additional vehicles park on the opposite side of the road. 2 bedrooms located on the first floor. Towels and linens provided. Washer / Dryer located in the basement. We hope you can enjoy your visit here as much as we do.

TO HUNTERS: If you are coming with trained bird hunting dogs, please reach out to us directly.

Beautiful cabin, great views. Specific bits of praise: 1) no squeaks on any of the floors or beds. Could sneak in and out of napping childrens' rooms with no fear. 2) Gorgeous step-down sunroom with views of the sunset. 3) AC works really well.Thank you for the great spot!

Beautfiul spot with great amenaties. Owner was cery kind and easy to get ahold of if needed. Despite being a little farther out in the woodsy area there is a great shopping mart within 15 minutes drive of the spot which was extremely convenient. Wonderful time, will definitely be booking again in the future.

The host was easy to communicate with and provided great information about the property. We were able to bring our 3 dogs and there was room for their crates which was great. The screened deck was great to hang out in on the evening.The property was close to a number of hikes that we had planned including the Appalachian Trail and it was close to the Kennebec river as well. The river was running too warm over the weekend for my husband to go fishing so we would love to come back again to do some fishing! For those of you who like the water there was a couple of spots along rt 201 that you can get down to the river on foot and if you have a boat the public launch was also along rt 201.Would love to come back again it was a cozy property, perfect location for us to explore The Forks and surrounding areas. We appreciated the amenities available in the property and the grounds were well kept.

This is a wonderful cabin in a peaceful town. It was restful and very inviting. Very pet friendly and accommodating. Had the best week! Lots of great hiking and exploring.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! Plenty of room for our family (us parents and our three teenagers) to spread out, and we had everything we needed to make our own meals in the kitchen. Loved sitting on the porch in the morning with our tea and watching the world wake up! Excellent home base for white water rafting in the area - would stay here again.

Cute cozy cabin

Great place for a little get-a-way. Nice private location. No WIFI available so that made it a little inconvenient but overall a nice place to stay.

Perfect For Guys Weekend

Booked this for my husband and his friends for a guys trip. They loved it! They had plenty of space to spread out inside and enjoyed the peacefulness it offered.

Originally from Upstate New York where I learned to fly fish, I moved to Maine where I found home and my wife. Took up ruffed grouse (i.e. partridge) hunting, when I adopted my hunting dogs. We fell in love with the house we are putting on VRBO, and we want to share our love of the Maine outdoors with our guests. This is our first time hosting, and we hope that we will get some good feedback, as well as some feedback to make the place more appealing. Best of luck fishing across the street at Wyman Lake, or your favorite Maine outdoor fun.

We chose this location because of its central location - you can get to the Kennebec Valley or up to The Forks or Jackman in a short time. So much to choose from. Considering I used to drive from Southern Maine for a day trip in The Forks, this is a lot easier!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

We love the privacy that the property affords being surrounded by trees, and we especially love the sun room where we can kick back and relax while enjoying the scenery. In the cooler months, that wood stove kicks out a great amount of heat that keeps the whole place cozy. Get away from it all and be close by to the outdoors.
