This was our second visit to this lake house and we had so much fun. The lake views are amazing, you can just stare out for hours. Since last year, they have put in a new ladder for the dock which really is nice. We really appreciate the improvements made since our last stay. I was sad when we had to leave. Highly recommend!

Had a great time!Brought my brother and his friends for a quiet “bachelor party” where we played board games and grilled steaks. Property was clean and exactly as described! Surrounding town was small but adorable. The Lodge was a great idea for when we didn’t want to cook dinner!Quiet a few spiderwebs walking down to the dock, but that’s to be expected at a lake house. Once us tall folks cleared the way, there were no other issues the rest of the weekend.My extremely picky brother even said “oh, I’d totally go back there”, which… if you knew him… means a lot!!

Five stars across the board. Our group takes an annual lake trip every year, and this was hands down our favorite house so far. Steve was a fantastic host, and we're already planning our return trip next year.

The lake house was fantastic for our family! Nine adults and two young children had plenty of space for everyone. The outdoor space is awesome, and it was an easy walk down to the dock, even for the older family members; and being able to swim and fish right off of the dock was the best! Went kayaking one morning at sunrise, peaceful and beautiful! Steve was very helpful with quick responses to any questions we had. Hope to book another stay here sometime in the future!

The home had easy access to everything that we needed while we were there. The owner was very conscientious about making sure that we would not need any basics for our stay that he had not provided. The views are gorgeous. It was very accommodating for our large group. We would totally stay here again!

This was one second year at this property. We really enjoyed the lake, swimming and fishing. We brought a canoe and had a picnic on the beach across the lake. Our kids all caught fish almost immediately. The fire pit is great for some-ores. It was easy to get to the Topeka zoo and children’s museum. The property is just as described and the host is very accommodating. Highly recommended this place for a family reunion. As the sign says ‘Lake Waubaunsee- Gem of the Flint Hills. Also worth the drive is the National Tallgrass Preserve.

This place was SO NICE!!!. The lake was so close, and having a diving board, kayak, paddle board, and lilly pad right there made our trip so enjoyable. The kids and grandkids fell in love with it!!!!!! We also enjoyed eating at the Wild Olive just a short distance away. We'll definitely be going again!!!!! Thanks again!!!!PS: The view was FABULOUS!!!!!

Fantastic place

Great house on a beautiful lake. Perfect for any size family and the owner checked on us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend this house!

We had a wonderful stay and the property was beautiful. We loved the large spacious rooms and amount of bathrooms.We did notice a significant amount of dog hair in several rooms. The rug, blanket, and couches in the living space had some. Then the carpet and bedding in one of the master suites had quite alot. So for being a pet free location that was slightly confusing. Overall a great stay!
