Second time staying here for a multiple day visit to Holiday World. So much nice than the area hotels. Host and property are wonderful. Lots of little touches that say the host cares for her guests and wants them to have a wonderful experience. There is a nearby gas station (Casey’s) with surprisingly good breakfasts. Dollar General and a nice Mexican restaurant just a couple of minutes away. About 25 minutes to Holiday World. Highly recommended!!!!

The Cottage was a quaint little space with plenty of rooms and beds for a big family stay. The house is older and the floors may creek, but it is very clean and cute and smells fantastic!!! There are games for the family to play and all the amenities were spot on. When we arrived the mini split A/C was dripping on the floor from condensation and I messaged Audrey. She not only answered right away, she came to the house within the hour to fix the issue quickly and successfully!! I would definitely recommend this house for your future stay and we will be coming back, for sure!!

Such a great place to stay
We absolutely loved this home. It was so accommodating and there was plenty of room for everyone. It was clean, with great instructions on the check in info as well as handy notes around the house. We will certainly stay here again if it’s available on our next visit.

The Getaway
“The Getaway” was a good location to travel to other areas & see different things. The home was well stocked with everything you would need. Aubrey answered all questions and responded quickly. She even gave us some nearby things to do.

Great guest house close to Holiday World
We travel to Holiday World every year with our two nephews and one niece. As they have grown, staying in a hotel room has become less comfortable. We were looking for a nice place with more room, and found it in nearby Lynnville.The property is an older (1930's??) house with modern upgrades that make it an ideal short term rental. Everyone had their own private space.The property was clean, and the owners obviously care about their guests. There was soap, laundry detergent, coffee, and other amenities that made the stay a pleasure.There is a dollar store nearby, and a Caseys which has great breakfast.About 30 minutes more or less to Holiday World.We were thrilled with our stay, and the kids have already asked to stay there next year!

I am from Chandler, Indiana and have had rental properties for several years. I enjoy hosting "The Getaway" because of its great location that allows others to enjoy all that Southern Indiana has to offer.

"The Getaway" is in a neighborhood right off the Lynnville exit, 39, of I-64. iLynnville is a very small town with a lot to offer. Beautiful Lynnville Park, Interlake State Recreation Area, Sugar Ridge, the Black Horse Wedding Barn and Holiday World are just a few of the wonderful places to visit that are in close proximity to "The Getaway".
