The property was just as advertised, and we really enjoyed our peaceful and relaxing stay. We would definitely stay here again!A couple of suggestions for improvement: the cooling was a little warm overall, especially at night in the bedrooms. Also, a fresh set of bath towels would be a nice refresh.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere!

The house is beautiful, comfortable, and convenient to nearby West Monroe. Rooms are spacious and the view of the lake is awesome. We would definitely stay again!

Adorable cabin! Came for my son’s karate competition and decided to make a little weekend retreat. The house was so cute and and had great little personal touches that made it like home away from home.

My family recently stayed here while on a work trip and had an amazing time. The lake house is very nice and super comfortable. My kids were super impressed with the showers(lol). The lake house is located down a private drive and seen a few deer coming to and leaving the house. We spent the afternoons on the deck listening to the crickets and quiet while the kids caught fish in the lake. 10/10 spot to reflect and study also, would certainly book again.

Red Dirt Retreat was the perfect home away from home for our family while playing in a week long softball tournament in Ruston! Everything was so clean, comfy beds, peaceful backyard, great walk-in showers! We will definitely stay here again!

Relaxing, cozy and clean place to stay!

Our stay was seamless! Loved the waterfront and drinking coffee on the porch. Our kids even caught several fish. Highly recommend this place!

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful accommodations. House was clean and very comfortable. We loved sitting on the deck with such a gorgeous view. The property manager was vert helpful and we are planning on returning!

This was our second stay at this property in the last month. It is beautiful to watch the sunrise over the lake. It is very quiet with plenty of wildlife on the lake. This property is newly remodeled inside and is perfect. I highly recommend this property. The check-in process in the property manager was very smooth and she is extremely nice.

Perfect Lakeside Getaway

My fiancé and I stayed at the Red Dirt Retreat for a quick weekend getaway and could not have been happier. The house was very pretty, spotless, and had everything we needed. The spot on the lake was beautiful and we even caught some fish. My only regret is that we did not stay longer. We will definitely be back.

This was a beautiful retreat with modern conveniences. My husband and I grew up visiting Lake D'Arbonne and we wanted the opportunity to stay on the lake with our family. It was nostalgic for us. I enjoyed the modern kitchen and shower. We appreciated the split floor plan. The scenery was perfect. It was mostly quiet. Neighbors do have dogs that occasionally bark and roam free. The neighbor had a party one night, but it wasn't too disruptive. We understand everyone enjoys the lake differently. A squirrel kept coming on the back deck taking parts of the doormat for her nest. She was entertaining. Very pleased with this getaway. I would recommend it to family and friends for a close vacation.

10/10 Awesome! Perfect!

This was a beautiful lake house for our family getaway! An inviting relaxed space, recently renovated, and extremely clean! Parking was easy, and the house had everything we needed and more for our stay. Very comfortable beds (pillows were stellar, a bonus for sure, leave yours home!) and peaceful evenings. I especially enjoyed picturesque views of the lake for breakfast coffee and dinner sunsets. Host was easy, clear, and responsive. We can’t wait to get back to Lake D’Arbonne and will be sure to stay here!

Girls trip

The red dirt retreat was a beautiful atmosphere that provided a lot of fun for me and my group of friends! Me and the girls spent our days grilling out on the back patio, tanning in the big yard, baking in the kitchen, and more! At night we cozied up and did each others nails and sat around the living room hanging out. The place itself was very spacious and had everything we needed in terms of toiletries, kitchen appliances, and comfort! I highly recommend if you’re looking for a good weekend getaway with family or friends to stay in this comfy and friendly atmosphere!
