Super easy check in and the cabin was awesome. Host very responsive to questions and messages. Sauna was great after long days of sightseeing and hiking!

If you’re looking to go off the grid, this is the perfect cabin in the woods. Quiet walks and cozy campfires. Very close to lots of hiking spots and walks on the beaches of Lake Superior.

This stay exceeded my expectations! The pictures don't do it justice, it was bigger than the photos show, super clean, and so cozy!! It's nestled in the woods and you could hear a pin drop it was so quiet. I slept with the window cracked and could hear faint sounds of wildlife as I was falling asleep. Absolutely wonderful and will definitely stay again!

A wonderful cabin for a quiet retreat! Took a trip up north for the Perseids Meteor Shower, and this location was perfect! The property itself has beautiful views of the sky, or you can head 5 minutes down the road to Horseshoe Bay for stargazing over the lake. The cabin was clean, and although there isn’t any plumbing, I think this is the perfect little spot for folks who enjoy unplugging and finding some solitude in nature.

The property is as listed. Felt like a new place. WiFi is satellite so even if you have clear skis it might be hit and miss. For us it worked well in the morning and then the following evening. If you have a CPAP, bring your own power source because the power outlets (as listed) are only for recharging devices. The fridge was great to keep our ice, drinks and food cold. The place was spotless. No issues.

Really nice small cabin perfect for a couple or small family! The views were beautiful and at night it was pitch black! We were able to find a nearby camp with a shower so everything worked out great!

Cutest little cabin!

Loved this place for our Spring Break trip! The cabin and outhouse were very clean, and the kitchen was stocked well with utensils, pots/pans, and salt/pepper. The location was beautiful, and felt like we were all alone out there. This was a wonderful place to stay, about halfway between Grand Marais and Grand Portage. Great hiking spots nearby too!

Post engagement getaway!

Perfect place for a peaceful getaway! Many areas nearby to explore and of course you’re near Lake Superior! We enjoyed how quiet it was, especially being unplugged.

A bear wandered by the cabin the first night I was cooking dinner. Made the entire trip, because I was inside. An awesome little cabin with easy access to the water.

It’s beautiful property. The cabin was very nice and clean. I think the fact of an outhouse should be more upfront. The symbol of a bathroom is deceiving.
