Enjoy the convenience of AC, a washing machine, WiFi, heating, and an iron. Plus, unwind in the cozy living room with 2 futons. Our place will help you feel at home while you're traveling MD, DC and VA. We are 1.5 miles walking distance to MARC Train Station and also about same distance to fort Meade base, 10 miles to BWI Airport, 18 milles to downtown Baltimore, 17 miles to Annapolis, 31 miles to Washington DC and about 40 miles to old town Virginia.

Overall dirty

The best thing I can say about this property is the location felt safe. Seems to be a family neighborhood. The home was generally dirty. The kitchen floor had a sticky substance in one spot that stuck to my shoe. The main light in the kitchen has no cover over the fluorescent bulbs. The half bath has no towel. There are no washcloths in the bathrooms. If none will be provided, the description should warn guests so we know to bring our own. Totally unacceptable. Every single wallplate is filthy. I personally cleaned the wallplates in the master bedroom and bath because I was afraid to touch them. The master bedroom windows have glue residue from tape (?) on the glass, and the blinds are the dirtiest I have ever seen. The shower had a plastic mat that I was afraid to lift because I doubt it is thoroughly cleaned between guests. The stairways had obviously not been vacuumed and had debris all over them.

Very lived in and not fully fenced yard

The home is very lived in, if you are just using it as a place to rest your head, it’ll be okay. But if you’re staying there during the day, and using it as a home base, it’s kind of gross. Dirty walls, dust, sinks that don’t work. We also had an ant problem. The owner very nice; hut never offered a refund or anything for the issues. We chose this home for the fenced yard, which is missing a door to make it fully fenced. The steps to the yard were so slippery, I fell and hurt myself, my dog slipped, after that we stopped using it all together. It was very disappointing the main reason we chose this place was for the yard, and we couldn’t use it.
