The house was pristine, and the amenities did not disappoint! If I could give 10 stars I would. We enjoyed our stay!

We had an amazing time at Big Canoe Lodge. The home is gorgeous and well equipped with everything a big family needs. Our host, Kayla, was super responsive, even on Thanksgiving day. We wil def be going back there again.

The cabin was even better than the pictures! The views were incredible and we loved looking at the stars from the back porch. We saw a lot of deer traveling back and forth off the mountain each day. The drive in looks daunting but we had a rented mini van and put it in low gear and did just fine . We have rented many cabins in the Blue Ridge region and this was the best by far! We would definitely choose this one again!

Very private with beautiful views. No road or neighbor noise, just the sounds of nature. We purchased firewood from a local road side residence for the outdoor pit. We enjoyed the gas fireplaces both inside and out. Great for for big families or groups.

Peaceful stay

My family and I stayed for fall break and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere! Perfect for a family as there’s a game room and ample amount of space! We enjoyed the hot tub as well. When messaging the hosts we got an immediate response which was very reassuring as well. Would definitely recommend and stay here again in the future!

Winter getaway

Our family trip to the mountains was perfect with staying at the Big Canoe Lodge. The hosts responded quickly for any questions or concerns. Our kids can’t stop talking about the game room. The view is hard to beat!

Big Canoe

The house was very nice except for the spiral stairs which are difficult to climb. The driveway was insane and cost us 175 to get my car towed.

We had an amazing stay with 8 people at this cabin. The views were fantastic with great outdoor sitting areas and the kitchen was awesome to cook all weekend for the group! The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into making this a great experience. Our group was already discussing coming back when it’s cold so we can enjoy the fireplaces!
