The size was great for our group of 17, especially the private bathroom for each bedroom. We also liked that king beds were in every room, however one of the beds in the upstairs bedroom was broken and several in our group had issues with the fitted sheets being too small. The basement bedroom had a portable air conditioner which vented through a window and there was a hole in the screen. The kitchen was small (galley) but there was ample space to eat either at the table in the basement or on the deck. The kitchen was very disorganized and utensils and cookware were in rough/poor condition. We washed all items before using. Cupboards seemed dirty. The refrigerator had shelves that were broken. Overall, the kitchen needs some attention. It was nice to have the second refrigerator on the back deck. The house is also very loud and sound echoed throughout-doors, footsteps, etc During our stay we observed a squirrel run up the side of the house and into a hole that was in the eaves, likely up to the attic/roof. The floors were dirty and after walking barefoot on them our feet were black. There’s no yard for kids to play or space for outdoor activities due to the steep slope. There were lots of board games, unfortunately previous guests dumped pieces everywhere which made playing difficult. There were a few wasps in the back deck area. The location of this property did allow ample parking. The property was good for our group, and with a little more care, would be great!
