Escape to this red, white and blue themed cabin with its own private back deck!. This enchanting retreat features a large cozy open area log cabin with all the things you need to enjoy a quiet getaway. You will be able to sleep several guests with 1 queen bed, a full size daybed and 1 sofa bed, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. With amenities like central air conditioning, heat, WiFi and a smart TV, you will feel right at home. Kitchenette area features an apartment size refrigerator with freezer, microwave, coffee pot and a nice round table with seating for 4. The bathroom is stocked with all the essentials you need. This cabin has a private back deck with furniture for enjoying the outdoors. The front covered porch features outdoor seating and a hanging swing and it's just a few feet from a huge fire pit with free firewood!

It's an open style log cabin with private bathroom and kitchenette. We allow pets but require you to keep them off all the furniture. Don't leave them unattended and don't let them wander off. We are just a 20 minute drive to Salt Fork State Park and the city of Cambridge.

Only stayed one night and it was raining. We had another couple with us who arrived earlier and forewarned us about the need for flashlight as the path to the cabin was somewhat treacherous we had a flashlight and did okay . All of us were happy to have an immaculate clean place to stay with plenty of of towels and comfortable beds, as we arrived in the dark when the morning sun rose we enjoyed our coffee on the porches . The little kitchenette was perfect for a quick breakfast and a snack.We suggested to the owners more hooks in the bathroom and some lamps they had already been ordered. Nice place good deal . Thanks for hosting us

Thank you so much for the great review! We do have plans for adding some low lights in the future - we just love to keep it dark so everyone can enjoy the stars! But the trade off is it’s a little dark to get into the cabin. We are so glad you enjoyed the beauty of our place and had a great time!

Awesome!!!

Duane was an awesome guy who made our stay fantastic. The cabin was clean, well maintained and comfortable. Don’t hesitate to go here if you like being in a rustic setting.

Nice little cabin.

Very comfortable cabin. Clean and all the comforts of home. Pretty clean; well maintained with modern appliances. Duane is a real good host.

Getaway

Very cute log cabin situated on a back country road. The stars are amazing! We enjoyed the peace and quiet. The owner was very accommodating and started bomb fires for us . Would definitely come back .

The tranquility and quiet is perfection. And then on a clear night - the star lit sky is really a must see. We knew when we seen this property for the first time that we had to buy this special piece of heaven!

We don't have alot of outdoor "extras". We are low maintenance and want our guests to just relish in the quiet enjoyment of nature and the surroundings. We have 72 acres with some trails and you can walk quietly through the woods and see wildlife abundantly. A campfire at night, starry skies and a nice place to rest - that's what we have to offer.
