At the time of your booking, our property listing included a notice regarding the amenity changes, and the specific access limitations were also outlined in the rental agreement prior to your arrival. We recognize that this change has impacted the overall resort experience, particularly for returning guests who were accustomed to the previous amenities. We continue to work with the TOPS'L Master Homeowners Association to advocate for solutions that will improve the experience for vacation rental guests in the future. As we discussed during our phone conversation, the information we initially received indicated that the amenities had changed ownership, but we were not informed that access for vacation rental guests would be restricted. As soon as we became aware of the access limitations, we immediately began notifying all affected guests, including you, even though your arrival was only a few days away. We understand how important these amenities were to your vacation plans, and we recognize how frustrating it was to learn of the change so close to your stay. While this decision was made by the resort's new ownership and was outside of our control, we did our best to communicate the updated information as quickly as possible and provided a courtesy credit in recognition of the inconvenience. We share your disappointment with these changes and understand the impact they have had on our guests' vacation experience. We have been actively working with the TOPS'L Master Homeowners Association to advocate for a solution that restores access or provides comparable alternatives for vacation rental guests, and we remain hopeful that positive changes will come in the future.
