It was located in a nice quiet neighborhood. It had a nice big back yard. There were plenty of room in bedrooms and nice shelves in closets to store clothes or ball bags which we had for a soccer tournament for both kids. It was not far off the main highway, but far enough

Perfect size home for our family of four and small dog. House is cozy and clean, and is situated in a quiet neighborhood on a wooded lot. Deer visited the backyard, and we enjoyed their whimsical presence while getting a late night snack and saw them through the kitchen window. The house is only 8 minutes away from downtown Carmel and about 30 minutes to downtown Indianapolis. Would definitely stay again.

Old- stale smell throughout house. Furniture and decorations have “thrift store smell”Cheap uncomfortable Beds and linens Back door lock is a “stick”. Cookware wasn’t usable- old Garbage Disposal Broken Bidet didn’t work For what we paid we could’ve stayed in a nice hotel.It was in a quiet neighborhood and had a decent backyard.

Family stay

The house was in a nice quiet neighborhood. Property was clean when we arrived. We were visiting family so it was a great house and location close to downtown Carmel.

Family Gathering in Carmel

This home was perfect for my family. We were in town for a family gathering and this home met our needs. It was clean and comfortable with a convenient location. The host did a great communicating with us prior to our visit.

Christmas Visit

I'm originally from the Indy area. My family and I now live near the East coast. My aging parents are in a retirement facility too small to accommodate us when we visit. This was the perfect place to stay and to have space to visit with my Indy-local family for the holidays.

This house has potential to be a great place to stay. The location is convenient, the neighborhood is quiet, the yard is large with a table and chairs, and the layout of the space was good.Unfortunately, the lack of upkeep overshadowed the positives. The entire house had a strong musty smell from the moment we walked in. For a 129 cleaning fee, the condition of the house was unacceptable. There were large dust bunnies in the hallway, dirt and hair on the floors, hair and debris left in the shower/tub, and dried toothpaste and soap splatter on the bathroom faucet and soap dispenser. The hand towels smelled so musty they were unusable. There was even Santa/Christmas decor still hanging up.There were also several maintenance issues. The fan/light in one bedroom didn't work because the remote battery was dead and appeared rusted. The coffee provided had expired over a year ago. The microwave would often appear to be running, with the light and timer on, but wouldn't actually heat anything.By the time we got home, our husbands could smell the musty odor on our luggage and clothing. Also, as another reviewer mentioned, the back door is secured with a stick that's slightly too short, with foam stuffed in the gap, which didn't inspire much confidence. With some deep cleaning and regular maintenance, this could be a really nice rental.

A very comfortable home for a short stay. The neighborhood was safe and very quiet. We will return if available on our next trip to Indy.

The property was clean and comfortable, communication with the host was simple, the kitchen was equipped and we prepared several meals. The washer and dryer were a bonus. The home is in a quiet neighborhood near venues and shopping. We had a wonderful stay.
