Whether you are just passing through the quiet little town of Crofton, visiting family, friends or needing a place to stay close to Lewis & Clark lake, your family will be close to everything when you stay at the Cozy Cottage located in the heart of Crofton. Inside you will find 3 cozy bedrooms all with queen beds, fully equipped kitchen with gas stove for whipping up your favorite recipe or maybe you want to curl up with a good book and a cup of your favorite coffee using the Coffee Bar. BBQ grill to grill up your favorite steak and a fire pit to enjoy a quiet evening looking at the stars. You will have everything you need here at The Cozy Cottage and if you forget your toothbrush we have that for you as well. 20 minutes from Yankton and the lake.

Very impressed with our experience at the Cozy Cottage. Sophia and Glen’s home is exceptionally well cared for, warm and inviting with all necessities conveniently provided. The host was also very accommodating to our needs. I highly recommend staying here.

Host was very good. We were very comfortable during our stay. Back yard was great for the dogs and would be comfortable to hang out in during warmer weather. Location was great and we were close to lots of family. Would recommend and we will be back next year.

We stayed at the Cozy Cottage while visiting for a wedding. We were able to walk to the party as the Church and Hall were across the street. The Cozy Cottage was a warm and welcoming stay. We played card games, enjoyed the coffee and full kitchen. The beds and linens were very comfy. Our dog, Newt was very pleased with the dog toys and was able to enjoy the back fenced in yard. I was impressed with the up to date features of this home such as filtered water and a digital thermostat. The Wifi was easily accessed. These amenities made for a comfortable stay. Thank you for adding to the wonderful weekend of friends, family and celebration.

Such a delightful home and community. My sisters and I were looking for a place off the beaten path to stay for our annual trip to Lewis and Clark Lake. I had golfed in Crofton before during one of these trips and thought it was the perfect distance from Yankton. We enjoyed everything about our stay. The house was very comfortable and had all of the necessary, accoutrements and accommodations we were wanting. We made many home-cooked meals and used the grill, made s’mores in the backyard using the gas fire pit, got up every morning and walked through the small town of Crofton and reveled at how quiet and clean it was. They have the cutest baseball field there too, which really impressed us all! The house is on the main road, but it felt plenty safe. The house itself is cute, cozy and charming. The owners left lovely personal touches, including sourdough bread, for us! Great communication as well. 10/10 stars…would stay there again in a blink!

Both my husband and I grew up in the Yankton/Crofton area and chose to raise our kids in Crofton before moving to Bennington, NE to be closer to our grandchildren. We love to camp at Lewis & Clark lake and using the bike trails and picnic areas. We still have many family and friends in the area and always look forward to coming back to The Cozy Cottage.
