Quiet location between two alleys. Property was very clean, however the bathroom left much to be desired. Wall finish work is not good. Shower didn’t have any soap, shampoo available. Hand soap was mostly watered down. Very limited linens available.

Could use some TLC. Paint not covering walls. Just one coat slapped on. Cabinet paint chipping. Sofa sagging , needs replace. Proximity was close to venue. Not sure if I would use it again.

The host was very communicative with the check in process and all amenities were present as advertised. The location is phenomenal, nearby so many restaurants and less than a 15min walk from the expo center. We will be booking here again for our next stay in Columbus!

The location could not be better. A short walk to the convention center/Hyatt for a conference I was attending and great commerce, shops, parks, for my husband who came with me for some R&R. The hard rain the first day was driving some ants in the front door but this was quickly resolved. The living area is due for an upgrade but for the price, it was fantastic. Comfortable bed, good shower, nice to have a washer and dryer. Keurig pods and cream were provided (thank you!).

Great stay here. Needed a quiet and clean place near the conference I attended. Great pricing and so close to tons of restaurants and the convention center. Host was responsive and best of all provided me with all the information I needed to get checked in smoothly! Nothing more annoying than having to ask tons of questions just to get settled. Place also had everything I needed for my stay and was very comfortable. Absolutely would stay here again and highly recommend this host!

Wonderful little apartment in the heart of Columbus. It’s a block of of High Street and just a few minutes from the Convention Center and OSU. It had everything we needed. Bed was super comfortable as well. Highly recommend!

Great location

This is a great little space with a wonderful location in the heart of the Short North. I recommend it for anyone staying in the area! They could have taken more care in remodeling the property, detail cleaning, and making the outside more inviting, but nothing that would keep me from staying there. I would stay again!

Awesome Apartment!

Our stay was so nice here. What an amazing location for our stay in Columbus. The owners were very responsive and helpful. The space was clean and cozy. Will for sure be renting here again on our next visit to OSU!

Had a nice stay in Columbus for an OSU football game. the place was clean, check in/out and communication was perfect. the place is nice enough, but Luxe in the name is a stretch. Although clean, overall the space was just OK. Floor warped, only one fork, furniture cheap. The only real seating-the couch was very cheap and not comfortable at all. The bed was comfortable. Overall i would consider staying again, but considering the price I would look around first.

A Gem in Short North

A clean and quiet place to stay in the heart of the Columbus scene. We were one block off of High St in the Short North district but there was no noise at the apartment. It felt like an oasis of quiet. The king bed was very comfortable. The pillows, the sheets and towels were high quality. We had all the kitchen.and bath extras you could need in case you wanted to make a meal. The fridge was full size and brand new. I would absolutely stay here again.

On the morning of check-in (12 hr before our arrival), I completed the rental agreement and submitted my valid, unexpired driver’s license through the host's required third-party ID verification system, Truvi. Despite multiple attempts, Truvi failed to verify my ID and suggested using a passport. I complied, but Truvi also failed to process my passport, even though both forms of ID were valid and later verified. I immediately contacted Grand Welcome (GW) and offered to provide my identification directly. They instructed me to move communications off the VRBO platform and communicate via email and text, which a VRBO supervisor later confirmed violated host-guest protocol. I sent copies of my driver’s license and passport as requested. GW stated they would “check with management.” After hours of troubleshooting and multiple upload attempts on different devices, GW finally reached Truvi at 7:05 PM and requested a selfie, which I provided immediately. At 7:27 PM, they stated Truvi was reviewing my information but still refused to provide access. By 11:30 PM, more than 7 hr after check-in, we were still locked out and forced to secure last-minute alternate lodging at significantly higher cost. The following morning, over 24 hr after check-in, GW stated we could finally access the unit, rendering the reservation unusable. GW refused a full refund, later offering only the cleaning fee, despite their own refund policy. This can only be described as fraud/theft on the part of GW.
