The rental was amazing. Really liked it being two houses in one. It was exceptional clean, game room helped keep the little ones attention, and the check in was quick and easy. I really appreciated the extra night of accommodation! Will absolutely rest again and tell all of our friends and families about it!

Great family lake vacation

We had a wonderful stay at the Dragonfly cove with our family. Plenty of space in the two houses. Comfortable beds. Super responsive whenever we had questions.

This property was very clean and for the most part very well equipped. The location was excellent, close to downtown, but in a beautiful serene area away from town on the lake. The main house is very cozy with a fantastic deck overlooking the cove. We saw deer stroll through several times which was just beautiful. The secondary guest home was fantastic for my oldest brother and his wife. Even though they were in their 80’s it was perfect for them to have a beautiful quiet retreat that had everything they needed. The kitchen was extremely well equipped like the main house. The game room below the quest home was awesome! We really enjoyed playing ping pong, darts and foosball. The only suggestion I would make is that the management supply the home with more toilet paper and paper-towels which we expected for the cost of the rental. Because there was 6 adults in the main house and 2 in guest house we had to leave for toilet paper and paper towel run into town. The management company, Grand Welcome was very easy to communicate with and were very responsive if we had any questions. If you are looking for a cozy, quiet, clean and relaxing lake home this is a perfect spot!

Nice property, easy access to lake and very close to everything. Lots of room to spread out. Cute 2nd house great for multifamily or extra guests. Outdoor seating and dock seating, nice and secluded but easy access to main lake area. Kitchen nicely stocked with cookware, dishes and even a good variety of spices.

Great Stay

7 adults and 3 kids. This place was perfect for us. Lake access was clutch. A lot of activities for all and check in/out was super easy. Will be back. Thanks!

Weekend getaway

Property was as advertised. It had everything needed as far as linen and kitchenware. It was very nice to have two places to spread out and hang out. We brought our boat and it was close to the public boat landing. The dock was nice to hang out on.

The communication was not good. There's multiple people responding and giving different information. If you are wanting to rent a boat do it on your own as they were all over the place. Check in was fine. But there was no soap/ someone filled the empty bottle with water to make it appear to be full of soap, only 1/2 a roll of toilet paper and 1 trash bag. So be prepared to spend money on the essentials. The game room the games are worn and not as nice as the photo made them to be. But in the trailer where the 3 bedrooms and 2 baths are there are board games which was fun. The dock is very steep so anyone with knee issues please be VERY carful. The kitchen did come with everything we needed to cook and the grill worked.

Having clear and concise information is our priority, and we are working hard to improve our coordination moving forward. We have also addressed the missing items directly with our cleaners to ensure this does not happen again. Thank you for bringing the game room to our attention as well! We want our guests to have a great time, so we have just recently replaced several of the games in the garage. We are glad to hear you still enjoyed the board games provided in the main living quarters, and that the kitchen and grill worked out well for your meals. Lastly, we appreciate your note about the walk down to the water. While we do have steps installed to help navigate the incline, we understand it can still be a bit of a trek, and we will make sure our listing notes this clearly so future guests with knee concerns can plan accordingly. Tranquil and relaxing

We came down to watch our nieces graduate high school and figured this was the best place to stay. The grandparents had the quiet one bedroom house and the siblings and grandkids shared the detached three bedroom house. Everyone had plenty of space to stretch out and relax. The property was clean, beautiful and situated on a very quiet cul de sac. It had a game room in the garage which we all enjoyed tremendously. This house met all of our needs and would rent again! Thank you!

Spacious and great location on the lake

Spent a long weekend with family enjoying the huge back deck and boat dock under perfect NC spring weather conditions. There were plenty of bedrooms and baths for the four of us. The “extra” house helped and the game room was awesome. Very clean throughout. Wish we brought our boat. Have stayed several lake houses on Lake Norman- and this was by far the most convenient location. We loved hitting the local restaurants (5-10 mins away) for lunch - then grilling out on the back deck for dinner. Would definitely stay again.

Great place. Couple little things. Microwave in the house with the garage doesn’t work. Also the water pressure is low so don’t shower while washing dishes.

Decent property with slight problems

The gas line to the fireplace and outdoor grill weren’t working. The microwave in the main house is broken. There are no cooking pans. If you overlook a few defects, the house is in a good location and the sleeping arrangements were good and the house was clean.

Thanksgiving at the Lake

We chose this property because it worked perfectly for both my family and my sister’s family who decided to meet in the middle of our two locations for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. With two kitchens, there was ample cookware and appliances for the meal prep, while the kids entertained themselves in the playroom garage. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms were great to accommodate our two families of four each. However, I will mention that the water supply wasn’t sufficient for the demand, as we noticed a drop in pressure each time it was used at the same time. Even though we understood there were two houses on the property, it wasn’t clear which was the main house initially. This could be made a little clearer.

Descriotion Untrue

The Desrcibition of the property is totally not right. I ws told the house had 3br and the trailer had 1br. It was the other way around.The air was not working when we got there so, our first not was miserable. the air was fixed the next day. the microwaves was not work in the house. And the outside had so amy spider webbs all over the palce. as if they have not clean around the outide of the house. I asked for a $200 refund for gth discomfort and still waiting.

Great location

Wonderful location. Convenient 1 trailer, 1 house. The garage/game room on house had holes everywhere inside. We picked up some garbage and debris around the trailer. There was a gentleman leaf blowing when we arrived. We were surprised he didn't blow off the deck it was covered with leaves. The tv, in trailer living room, is cracked at the bottom of the screen. We brought our own laundry detergent. They have some there but bottles in both houses were empty. Dish soap, TO, towels and linens were provided which was very nice. If you're cooking, there's limited cooking pots. We grilled outside but we had to tear apart grill and do a deep clean. The kids actually helped clean the houses; sweep, vacuum and wipe things down when we arrived because the cleaning crew did not do a good job. Location was perfect, we enjoyed the patio and dock. We ate outside the whole time visiting. The trailer was cozy. I never got a notification for checkin process so I had to message twice. It would be nice to get a check-in email the day before or day of. The company was very helpful with local rentals and providing information. We would stay here again it was very peaceful.
