Beautiful stone cottage in a quiet country setting close to beach

Beautiful stone cottage renovated to a high standard. The cottage is spacious and bright with 2 large bedrooms: one with a king size bed, the other with 3 single beds, making this a welcoming retreat perfect for small groups or families.
There is a well equipped farmhouse style kitchen and a separate stylish sitting room.
Outside, mature landscaped gardens and a pretty courtyard with an outdoor dinning area and BBQ.
Drummeenagh Cottages are centrally located on the East Coast, an easy drive from Dublin and Belfast airports with easy access to the M1 motorway; 40 minutes to Dublin and just over an hour to Belfast. There is a great selection of Irish pubs, restaurants and cafes close by in the villages of Blackrock and Castlebellingham.
The stunning beaches of Port, Clogherhead, Blackrock and Annagassan are close by for swimming and coastal walks with views of the Cooley and Mourne Mountains.
"Louth Land of Legends" has many historic places of interest to visit during your stay, including: Newgrange, Monasterboice, Melifont Abbey and Carlingford.

Exactly as promised. Clean, comfortable, near the wonderful towns of Blackrock and Dundalk. Couldn’t have had a better experience from start to finish!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful location

My partner and I had a lovely short stay in one of Caroline’s cottages. Any questions we had, Caroline was always happy to help and also gave us some lovely restaurant recommendations! The cottage was clean, spacious and cosy with everything we needed and the beds were really comfy!Thank you Caroline! Would definitely stay here again

Family holiday

Caroline was a great host and the cottage was really clean. Excellent location for a family holiday. A short 5 or 10 minutes drive to a shop or supermarket. Close to the beach and tourist attractions. We hope to return in the future.

Very comfortable, clean house with enough room. We were three. Very quiet. You must have a car. Internet is good. The host is very friendly, we arrived on sunday and found a few things for breakfast, especially bread, butter, milk, fruits and other things. For us important: we found a big teapot, tea and sugar. A smaller shop were you can find a lot is near, about 3 km. We are from Germany.

Fabulous Cottage

The cottage was great and well furnished. Caroline met us at the door even though we got in later than intended and gave us a tour then remained in contact with us our entire stay. She made sure we had everything we needed. Her and her husband are gracious hosts. We had everything we needed and more. They even helped us with suggestions of what to see and offered to make the arrangements for us. Great stay.

Wir waren wie immer in Irland mit den Ferienwohnungen vollkommen zu Frieden. Die Vermieter super nett, unkompliziert und antworten schnell. Das Haus war wie beschrieben. Es war alles in Ordnung wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen , lieben Dank für alles.

Es war eine perfekte Unterkunft. Sehr nah am Meer, ganz kurze Wege zu sehr vielen Attraktionen. Das Cottage war unglaublich schön eingerichtet und wunderbar gemütlich. Die Gastgeberin Caroline war überaus nett und hilfsbereit. Es war insgesamt eine 10/10Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Meget dejlig cottage. Veludstyret med alt man skal bruge. Te, kaffe, sukker, mælk, frugt, krydderier til fri benyttelse. Dejligt når man har rejst at man er serviceret på den måde. Man må bruge udeområdet med pavillon og grill. Caroline og Paul er venlige værter, som gerne vil tale med gæsterne men også lade gæsterne være dem selv. De fortæller gerne om den forandring de har lavet med bygningerne. Beliggenhed nær Dundalk, Castlebellingham. Mellem Belfast og Dublin. Skønne kyststrækninger og fantastisk natur.Man føler sig 100% velkommen hos Caroline og Paul og kommunikationen med Caroline via mail var virkelig god.Stedet kan anbefales. V h Lillian Harris.
