The Retreat is perfectly located, only 4 miles to Rock House, 5 miles to Conkle's Hollow and 6 miles to Old Man's Cave. The cabin has it all- hot tub, pet friendly, fire pit, treehouse and more. The cabin and property are private, peaceful and located in the heart of the hocking hills state park area. Property highlights include: 6 person hot tub, wood burning fireplace and wrap around porch that offers 360* views. The interior of the cabin is a nice mix of rustic and modern, offering all the amenities you need for a relaxing getaway. The firepit is just steps away from the deck and the on- property hiking trail, camping cabin and frog pond offer a diverse selection of interesting places to visit while you are visiting.

The cabin offers 4 private bedrooms, allowing for comfortable sleeping arrangements.

Exceeded our expectations! The deck and outdoor space were amazing and where we spent most of our time when not sleeping. The kids really enjoyed the frog pond and listening to them while we roasted s'mores. The master bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was a great way to relax after hiking! Thanks for the amazing stay!

Wonderful place to stay! Communication with host was amazing. Fantastic location - minutes to various hiking trails. Very comfortable cabin. Many sleeping options and arrangements. Lovely porch with very cool nature views for morning coffee. Plenty of sun and shade areas for pups!

The house was perfect for us. We had a group of consisting of 2 small children and the house provided many opportunities for the kids, and spacious enough that the kids could go to bed and we could still be up without worrying about waking them. It was a convenient 10-20 min from the trail heads and grocery stores. Quick and smooth communication with the host. The only things were the upstairs did not have good circulation so it was very warm even with a fan, but having the basement accessible helped with that. One of the beds was also covered in dog hair. But overall it was a great stay!

28th birthday celebration weekend in the perfect cozy cabin with the family (all 5 of us). Everything was super clean and comfortable, and there was so much to explore…walking trails, a cute little frog pond, and plenty of space to just relax.The fire pit made for the best evenings, and the hot tub was the cherry on top after a long day outside. Exactly the kind of peaceful getaway we needed. Would absolutely come back!

Great stay for a long weekend with dogs and kids. Clean and as described. The kids liked the treehouse with the slide. Hosts were very responsive and even took the extra step to send us something we left behind.

We loved our short stay at The Retreat at Wildcat Hollow! It was exactly as the listing described. The kids loved the treehouse which was very sturdy and clearly well cared for.

Great house-great location

The house had absolutely everything we needed. It was spacious, private, and super comfortable and we were close to everything. It was way too hot to hang outside but in better weather we would have enjoyed the awesome deck or one of the fire pits.

But the retreat part of the property offers some amazing opportunities. It starts with the views from the wrap around deck which is offered on all sides of the cabin. You can enjoy morning coffee, mid afternoon reading or a group dinner all on the deck. If you like to explore, the property has treasures to check out. Start by visiting the frog pond, located right next to the outdoor fire pit. Your hosts are seasoned property managers.
