BEST VIEW on Lake Hamilton

No kidding, the view is spectacular with Mount Riante in the distance. We are on the main channel facing due South which is important because it means NO MOSQUITOES and there is always a nice breeze.

We are just outside the city limits of Hot Springs which means we are minutes away from everything, 5 minutes from Oaklawn Park, yet located on a private, quiet peninsula.

We have a boat dock available with a marina a few hundred yards away to gas up the boat. You will put your boat in at Hill Wheatley park and hop across the main channel to our boat dock.

We have covered parking for your vehicle or your boat trailer. You will want to put your boat in prior to coming to cottage as we have a steep driveway.

We could have stayed for a lot longer! If you need R and R this is the place! This cabin is tucked up in the trees with a great view of Lake Hamilton from the deck and every room. Just 15 or so steps down to the boat dock where we fished a couple days. It was a peaceful get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. So much to see and do in the area. Visited Bathhouse Row even enjoyed the historical bath experience, hiked West Mountain, and a few trails below Hot Springs Tower. Drove out to Mount Ida to look for crystals, found a few at Crystal Vista but trust me there are tons of them out there.

The perfect stay! We absolutely loved this cottage and the location. We couldn't have been happier with the choice to stay here for our visit to Hot Springs.

Beautiful view. Great deck. Cabin is rustic but very homey. Needs a curtain on glass door in bedroom. We loved our time at the lake.

Everything was perfect for my wife and I.The driveway was a little scary for the wife but added to it's charm.We would stay again very private.

Property was great, very relaxing. Only downside was the glass door to bedrooms needs some type of curtain installed. No sleep in due to light coming in. The only shower was super tiny but doable. Everything was provided, plenty of bedding, towels, dishes. Be prepared for the steep driveway!! loved it, would stay again.

Thank you, glad you had a good time. We have a blind for the door, it just got there too late to install before your stay. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to keep blinds in working order as they are constantly being broken.

Its a darling little cabin on the lake with great views. It is dated some but in good shape. The driveway has a steep incline ftom the garage to the cabin. But all in all we loved our stay and the host communicates very well and would highly recommend!

Nothing to complain about. The home was easy to find and we were all so impressed with the home itself along with the neighborhood it's in. The view is absolutely breathtaking. Pictures do not do this place justice. We felt right at home. My husband and myself along with an oldest son (38) and a 12 year old grandson spent the weekend here. My son stayed on either the porch or the deck most of the time while we were there and the grandson wanted to swim the whole time. Our two dogs loved the view from the big windows. This is my new favorite home away from home. From sunset til after dark, we all sat outside and enjoyed the early morning sunrise along with a cup of coffee and watching early risers out on the water with their boats. After dark was just as beautiful from the lights from all around the lake from other homes and boats out after dark. We saw the same geese family every day and little turtle heads popping up out of the water and occasionally fish letting us know they were out there. This place was just amazing and very peaceful. Everything was perfect. We didn't want to leave. Until the next time, we plan to return. Thank you Chris and Lisa.

So cute and cozy! Beautiful spot right on the water! Plenty of beds to sleep in, even though it’s only one bedroom. I would definitely book there again.

Lake House

We adored this little house right on the lake. The kids were able to jump off the dock to paddleboard and swim. The beds were super comfy too! I think we will try to stay here when we come back to Hot Springs!

Enjoyable Stay

We had a very enjoyable, relaxing stay. Hot Springs is a lovely little town and has many interesting things to explore. The house was very adaquate for our needs.

Myself, my wife and our two girls live in Dallas, Texas. My wife is originally from Hot Springs and we travel here as much as time will allow.

We love the Hot Springs area, and wanted someplace on the lake where we could get away.

We love this property because of the spectacular views and southerly breeze. We had a place in a cove at one time, and the mosquitos were unbearable.

Our home is a rustic 50+ year old cottage built right on the lake. Multiple decks to lounge on, a boat dock and steps right down into the water.

Check the photos and reviews to learn more about our vacation home. If you are expecting the Ritz Carlton, this is not your place. This is a fantastic rustic cottage where you can hang out at night and spend your days in the water. It is private and quiet with the rumble of boat engines and waves to put you to sleep on the deck.
