It’s pretty but you can’t see much out of the windows since they are vinyl and it’s no where near sand dunes national park like it said on the site.

Really nice Dome not far from Great Sand Dunes National Park. Inside was lovely. Nice sitting area out back with beautiful mountain views. Near little town of Crestone. Made some great meals using grill and communal kitchen. Would recommend.

Great stay, clean, cool experience. I didn’t realize there was a shared lobby which was listed in the details of the property. There wasn’t anyone staying there when we came so I didn’t bother us.

Bed was very comfortable and dome was “cute” but don’t look too close, the floor planks and trim and paint are janky. The I had to go wipe the dome plastic outside to see decently outside. Also in the booking pictures it show the top of the dome open for viewing but it is intact not open and won’t open so that was a bummer if we could view the stars. The telescope was missing parts so we couldn’t use it but luckily it was so cloudy and rainy that we couldn’t see anything anyway. It started raining and we noticed a lot of water leaking in behind the fire place by the back door, so we had to put some towels down. I informed the owner. The dome stayed a very comfortable temperature and the bed was extremely comfortable and shower was very hot! Bathroom door wouldn’t shut off the way but it wasn’t that big of a deal.

Had a great time!

First time staying in a dome and it was better than expected. The stars at night were something I've never seen nor will forget. The dome was so cool! Will surely stay again.

Dark skies and Great Sand Dunes

The Dome of Dreams was such a great glamping experience. Highly recommend if you’re traveling to the area and looking for a unique experience.

We enjoyed the peaceful, remote setting and the incredible stargazing opportunities. However, the property’s maintenance needs attention: several power outlets were non-functional, and the AC at the entrance was out of order. While the host suggested checking the breaker box for the outlets, it didn't resolve the issue. The home has great potential and many amenities, but they need to be verified for functionality before new guests arrive.

Cute multi-family dome

This cute multi dome home is very comfy with good fans for a comfortable overnight sleep. Star gazing is encouraged but be aware the see through dome does not allow a lot of star viewing from inside. Outside the dome has plenty of seating and blankets so they have you covered.

Property was great no complaints. The weather in June proved a bit too much for the airco to keep up in the afternoon hours. Also the access to the Great Sand Dunes is 60 minutes away, not 17 minutes as stated in the listing.
