Adventure awaits at this nostalgic log cabin with modern conveniences near Bumping Lake and Mt. Rainier National Park! This off-grid retreat offers year-round activities: snow sports in winter, hiking and water sports in summer.

Newly renovated, the cabin sleeps 10 and features automated solar+generator power, EPIC mountain views and animal sightings. Indulge in our first floor King suite with custom tile rain shower with jets and shower temperature control display. The Queen bed has amazing 2nd story views of the mountain while the loft bunks x2 are luxuriously draped in linens situated by a large screen tv with couch and pool table.
Hang, cook or relax on the deck in front of the gas fire pit, bbq with friends and family and take in the unobstructed Mountain View.
Colloquially called the “million dollar ride” by naval fighter pilots, we are on the popular VR-1355 route often given low-level flybys by EA-18 Growlers!
We are not accessible to Crystal Mountain Ski area.

this is a great property. We enjoyed the great view from the deck and the gas firepit. It is very remote which is what we wanted. We drove down to the lake every day for a swim to cool off after hiking Mt. Ranier. Kitchen was well stocked beds and bath were top notch.

We absolutely loved our stay at this winter lodge. The aesthetic is beautiful, and the views were truly breathtaking. The beds were very soft and comfortable, we all slept great. Having reliable internet access in a dead zone was a huge plus.The fully stocked kitchen is a dream for anyone who loves to cook. Everything was so thoughtfully done, with incredible attention to detail, from the clock in the living room to the coffee table upstairs. There are beautiful pieces everywhere you look.The hosts were extremely thoughtful and attentive. They provided very clear check-in and check-out instructions, along with helpful guides in case any obstacles came up. They also checked in occasionally to make sure everything was working well and that we had everything we needed, which made us feel very well taken care of.Everything about our stay was great, and we made wonderful memories here. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and memorable getaway.

This place exceeds expectations from the pictures. If you love to see Elk this place had the same herd grazing every morning and night right in the front lawn. The breakfast view every morning was so relaxing. We stayed here to ski at white pass. That experience was so fun! They had a unique race where kids created things to go down on skis and were judged by how far off the jump it went and if it landed correctly and stayed in one piece. My 4 year old daughter loved to see that. That ski hill has lower elevation and difficulty was perfect for people who don’t ski a lot. My daughter went down it effortlessly with the slope ropes I used to help control her a little bit. We went to the union creek trail 35 min away and we were surprised with a beautiful waterfall which was very fast and loud from all the snow melting right now. Weather was 50-60 degrees and sunny all weekend. So perfect! The house was was clean and accommodating with giving directions and a guide to download prior to the stay and the owners were very communicative and replied to texts very quickly on VRBO and on their personal cell. This place was built in the 1800’s when a family first settled here and the owners upgraded the place a lot… but the history of the place makes you feel like you’re in the energy of the origins of the mountains. So special. Will definitely come here again!
