Great house!

This house was everything that our group needed with a place to dock our boat so that we could enjoy the lake all weekend. However, hot tub was not working during our stay which was definitely a bummer. Also, there was a huge upper deck at the dock but there were only a couple chairs there, so our whole group wasn’t able to enjoy that upper deck as much we would’ve liked to.

Long Weekend Getaway

Stayed at the property with my wife and 20 month old son. The property seemed to be recently renovated with very nice bathrooms and appliances in the kitchen. There was a huge yard for my two dogs to run around and enjoy. Very nice deck and conveniently located down the street from Dukes Creek Marina where we rented a boat one of the days.The host Erik was very responsive. We had a couple challenges with the door code and WiFi and he was quick to remedy the situation, going above and beyond. The property was also close to Lake Anna State Park which we visited one of the days, highly recommend. The beds at the property were also super comfortable, not always a guarantee when renting. There were also lots of board games. My father and his girlfriend came down one of the days and we had a fun time playing Pictionary. Overall, great host, solid property and good location.

Our stay was excellent and the location was perfect for our group. The host did communicate that the hot tub was down and that the lake had unfortunately been lower due to drought so unfortunately the boat house was not accessible by boat (last spot end of cove) but we were able to make due with tying off near the gazebo. The place was clean and had ample room. There were some minor things that could be updated and needed attention but overall was a wonderful stay.

Erik was very helpful and replied quickly when we needed supplies or had issues/questions. He was a great host!The house was perfect for our family. We had 5 little kids and a dog. The property was quiet and private. Lots of grass for thd kids to play. We loved it! Although the house had water frontage, but no waterview, it worked out perfect for the littles. We didn't have to worry about them with the water and the dog loved being able to come outside without a leash and could run. There was a state park beach we used for the kids to swim and the park was beautiful for picnics, trails, and fishing. Everyone thought it was a great vacation for our family and we would definitely go back.
