Gear up, get out, and create amazing adventures in Green River and Flaming Gorge Reservoir country. After an amazing day of creating memories, come back and enjoy a dip in the hot tub, relax in a rocking chair on the porch, chill by the firepit, play Pickleball, and retell the stories of the adventures of the day. Eat out or prepare a home-cooked meal in our fully stocked kitchen or cook outside on the Blackstone or Traeger. The perfect place to unwind after fishing, boating, hiking, or biking.

The property is rural and it is recommended that you have your own personal vehicle to access the property. Ride shares, such as Uber and Lyft are not available in this area.
4 Wheel Drive is strongly recommended in the winter months, as there could be snow and slick roads in the area.

Prior to your stay, we would love for you to complete a pre-arrival form and sign & agree to our rental conditions.

Because there are no grocery stores nearby, we strive to be the best stocked vacation rental you have ever stayed at. A few essentials can be picked up at several convenience stores in the area.

We have a Ninja coffee machine that brews by the pot and takes Nespresso capsules. We have a supply of coffee, tea, and hot chocolate on hand.

Ample parking in the driveway and on the curb.

The place was so well stocked! Beds are very comfortable and the place has so much fun western charm. It’s in a convenient location and the hot tub is amazing-so big and fun with colored lights. Highly recommend!

This place is absolutely amazing! It was fully stocked with a coffee bar and s’mores for the fire pit. There was even fresh made bread with butter and jam waiting for us upon arrival. They provide soaps and lotions and hand soaps. There were spices and condiments and a well-sticker kitchen with everything you could possibly need. There was foosball in the basement for the kids. We loved playing pickleball too. We will book this property again.

Great place for our 6 man fishing trip. Our friend is a chef and he had a great time cooking here (the Traeger was an added bonus). Thanks to Old Moe's guide service for the recommendation. We'll be coming back!

Amazing home! Very spacious, everything you need and more for a relaxing stay while fishing the beautiful Green River! Loved all the extra touches they added (soaps, extra toothbrushes, fresh baked bread upon arrival) to make us feel at home and comfortable. Andrew was very communicative and friendly. Highly recommend!!

Great Stay

Awesome property. Homemade bread was baking when we walked in the door which made the house smell amazing. Very clean. House is completely setup to live in without bringing all the typical necessities. We will definitely stay here next time.

This place was awesome! Way better than our expectations. This place had everything we wanted. Space, grilling, hot tubbing, and even a pickle ball court. Close proximity to two marinas. The host was awesome. Consistently making sure we had what we needed.

The Dutch John Adventure Outpost was truly exceptional. The cabin itself is absolutely beautiful—warm, inviting, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Every room felt carefully planned, with so much attention given to both the details and the needs of the guests.What impressed us most was how remarkably well stocked the cabin was. With most vacation rentals, you learn not to count on finding even the basics, but this home had absolutely everything we could have wanted. We arrived to freshly baked bread and homemade jam, which was such a lovely and welcoming touch. The kitchen had oils, salt, spices, and even a full assortment of baking supplies, allowing me to make desserts during our trip. They had also provided practical necessities such as laundry detergent and countless other items that made our stay effortless and comfortable.The host checked in with us regularly through the app to make sure we had everything we needed, while still giving us plenty of privacy. The care and hospitality behind this property were evident in every detail.Without a doubt, this was the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. It was the perfect home base for our family’s fly-fishing adventure, and we will absolutely return the next time we visit Dutch John.

Well appointed with alot of extras and everything anyone could need. Comparable to being at home. Convenient access very nice and clean decor. Lots of space. Certainly one of the best if not the best rentals experiences ever had. Owner controls what they can.Tough time of year. Area ameneties lacking due to season.

Perfect basecamp

This home was the perfect basecamp for our fishing trip to Dutch John. We had a group of six adults and there was more than enough elbow room, the place was clean, communication was clear and thorough, the kitchen is amazing and has everything you'll need to prepare excellent meals, beds and bedrooms are comfortable. We spent time in the evenings on the porch and would transition to gather around the toasty fireplace in the living room. Parking our vehicles and boats in the driveway was slick - more than enough room for 3 vehicles and 2 boats. We've done an annual fishing trip for years and we all agreed this was the nicest lodging we've experienced. Don't hesitate to book the Adventure Outpost for your trip to the Green.

The cabin exceeded our expectations. Extremely well stocked, Fresh bread on arrival, great coffee, everything was perfect. Truly enjoyed the swim hot tub after a long day of fishing. Best place in Dutch John.
