HAL is a private basecamp for some of Colorado’s best adventures. Scenic drives, hiking trails, alpine lakes, skiing, historic towns like Fairplay, hot springs in Buena Vista, and iconic mountain passes are all within reach. However, please note: this is a remote mountain setting and many destinations require a scenic drive to access.

- Paved roads most of the way; last 4 miles are gravel—AWD/4WD recommended (required Oct–May).
