We had a great time. The house was clean and we enjoyed the alpacas, they were fun to watch. However, the bedrooms were not air conditioned and it was hard to get cool air to them. I would put that in the description especially for summer visitors.

Me and my friends were overjoyed with our experience here! We attended a wedding at a near by venue and it was not only a convenient location, but offered so many cool bonuses like the campfire outside and of course the alpacas! I will continue to recommend this place to anyone I know traveling!

We had a wonderful stay! Nice and clean, and each group had their own room. Of course, 2 bathrooms are always good. There was plenty of room in the living room and kitchen. We loved exploring the property, especially the chickens. The fresh eggs were great. Great communication and we had everything we needed. So close to Royal Gorge and nice stargazing, too.

Amazing location, great hosts

We loved our stay here! Beautiful views, close to hiking trails, and a short drive to Canon City. Our kids really enjoyed watching the alpacas and chickens, and playing horseshoes in the yard. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating when we asked to extend our stay. Highly recommended.

Nicely decorated and comfortable place with easy access to the highway and Canon City. I enjoyed a quiet week to myself on this little farm with curious alpacas, egg-producing chickens and a shy but beautiful barn cat. The host was very responsive and helpful with my questions and provided excellent instructions for operation of the house. I had a peaceful and relaxing stay.

This place is beautiful we stayed for two nights. It’s clean very spacious they welcome us with complementary bottled waters and snacks. And the Alpacas were so cute one of the best scenery. I would love to stay there again. And the host was very communicative. If i can give 6 stars I would love to do so.

The place was so comfortable! The animals were cute and the views were stunning all the way around the property. I was nervous about the roosters waking us up, but I didn’t even hear them at all. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay, and we hope to return again! Thanks Cody!

Beautiful views

This place is just as listed!! They had a cute little snack basket with bottled water! We had some farm fresh eggs and a sweet semi tame cat there that we loved. It’s a short 10 minute drive to town! The house was clean and the beds were very comfortable! We would stay here again for sure! The only negative thing is it’s closer to the highway than I thought it would be but we use a box fan at night and didn’t hear a thing.

Stayed for 3 nights and had a very enjoyable stay. We picked this place because it was remote, had what we needed, and because of the stellar reviews. It fully met our expectations. The bed & linens were very comfortable - we slept great! The alpacas, chickens & resident cat kept us company. The living room furniture was comfortable... I always appreciate a recliner option! We appreciated Cody's super prompt communication when we ran into a little hurdle checking in.If you're looking for a place to stay that's in the vicinity of Cañon City then look no further!!

Amazing

If I could give more stars I would! This little vacation home was more than perfect! Clean and very well stocked. Anything we needed during our stay was available. And the owners were great! Easy to communicate with. And the ring camera made contacting them in an emergency easy (we locked ourselves out in the middle of the night. Oops) We loved collecting eggs each morning. And sitting the porch taking in the view. I could honestly go on and on about how perfect it is. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

We rarely get away but had a chance to spend a few days around Royal Gorge for our first time. This place was perfect. Lots of space and out in the quiet countryside. The chickens and alpacas were fun to watch and at night - the Milky Way was so clear in the dark skies. It was actually more house than we needed but the pricing was so reasonable we grabbed it for the location and privacy (only a few houses are even visible in the distance). Everything was well kept and working, and we had a wonderful time sitting on the front porch in the mornings to start our day. The Royal Gorge turnoff on 50 is only a mile or two away and trips to Canon City were less than 10 mins. Best of both worlds - quiet home base yet close to everything.The owners were super responsive and very friendly. I got answers to any question within minutes - both before and during the trip. They were also very accommodating - even allowing us to delay our check out to align to our trip itinerary.These folks are awesome and the place was exactly what we were looking for. Will definitely be back when we're in the area. My daughter is excited to come with us next time and stay in the 'hidden' bedroom :-). Highly recommend!

Cabin was clean and well stocked with necessary items. Owners were responsive and helpful. It was pretty hot in Canon City during our stay. The AC worked well in the living room and kitchen but not so much in the bedrooms. Kids enjoyed the Alpacas and chickens. Ideal proximity from all the sights to see in the area, loved the privacy of the property.

We were in the area for a rafting trip at The Lost Paddle and decided to book this property. It was less than 5 minutes away from our destination and close to other shops/excursions in the area.The hosts were very communicative and check-in was a breeze. The property was lovely and just as described. It was very quiet and easy to get to. Everything was very clean and cozy, stocked with all the necessary essentials. The king bed was my favorite! It was so plush and felt like falling into a cloud after a long day. My 13 year old has OCD from Lyme disease and the automatic soap dispensers and trash cans were very convenient. We all loved seeing the animals and hanging out on the front porch. The snack basket was a nice little surprise too. We will definitely stay here again and hope to be back next year! Thank you!

We absolutely loved staying here. It was quiet and relaxing after a long day of adventuring. My teenage kids enjoyed having space to themselves and being able to find a spot outside to chill. The chickens and alpacas made it feel like home since we are a farm family from Texas. The host was quick to respond to any questions and had a nice binder with all the information we might need during our stay. We will definitely stay here again if we make it back to Colorado.
