We had a pleasant stay at the Edgewater house. While the property could use a little TLC and a few items needed attention, overall it was a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. The location was excellent, and the house offered plenty of space for our family. We had a great time and made wonderful memories during our visit.

The home met our needs. Number of beds and bed configurations met our needs. The beds were very comfortable. Was nice having 3 full bathrooms. The bath on the main floor could do with at least half-curtains on the windows! The house wasn’t dirty, but it wasn’t spotless by any means. There were used paper towels balled up on the floor between the couch and end table in the living room, and popcorn visible under the couch. Also a lot of dead bugs in the corners. It also only had one electrical outlet working for the whole kitchen counter. Made getting breakfast ready in the morning a bit challenging!

The cabin was in excellent shape, very roomy and comfortable. My only note is that when hosting larger groups, providing a second key would be convenient.

This beautiful log home was a wonderful place to stay and comfortably accommodated our party of 13 (well at least for the 12 that were able to make it). Our arrival was greeted by 10-15 deer on the front lawn, kids and I loved that. It is a beautiful log home Rental agency was lacking skills to assist. While they did reply to emails, when it came to the promised action, follow through and communication was very poor.

We were getting 7 kids of different ages together at this vacation, we couldn’t have been happier with the property and the kids had a blast with the size of the property, the cabin, the lawn and pond area and all the amazing games they invented. Also for the first time in their life most of these kids picked pears and apples right from the tree. Amazing Place for the Family & Friends to come together.

A Beautiful and Relaxing Stay!

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful vacation home, and it exceeded all my expectations! The house is truly impressive – spacious, well-maintained, and elegantly organized. The location was perfect – peaceful and quiet. The amenities were top-notch, and the host made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge.

We had a very disappointing experience at this property and would strongly recommend that future guests be cautious before booking.Our group included several families, with two families travelling from the UK and one from Dubai. Unfortunately, several basic amenities were either not working properly or were inadequate.The stove had uneven heating, making cooking difficult and time-consuming, and there was no proper exhaust vent/range hood to remove heat and cooking fumes. The washing machine did not work, and when we contacted the host, we were told to use a laundromat instead of the issue being resolved. There were also not enough chairs and cutlery for the number of guests the property was supposed to accommodate.We also experienced an electrical plug/outlet issue that was concerning because a previous guest had already mentioned a similar problem in an earlier review, yet it still appeared to be unresolved.We tried contacting the host multiple times, but the response and support were inadequate.These issues significantly affected our vacation. Before booking, I strongly recommend reading previous reviews carefully and confirming that the appliances, electrical outlets, laundry, kitchen ventilation, seating and other basic amenities are actually working and available.

Lovely place and home owner, rude property manager

The venue is spacious and comfortable. The owner checked in on us throughout the stay and was really pleasant. However, one shower would drain the hot water making it difficult to shower, run dishwasher etc. Beds and bedding were nice and comfortable as well as clean. Outdoor fire pit was amazing and owner stopped by to chop wood and ensure we were all good!
