we couldn’t have asked for a better stay or hosts, we only wish that we could’ve stayed longer! the property and setting were not only beautiful but clean and quaint, the hosts were beyond wonderful and we sincerely can’t wait to book again. thank you so much for a wonderful weekend.

It was an excellent getaway in the forest. The host lives on the property and was communicative and kind. While I didn’t get a chance to venture out, the property was peaceful and there are trails in the back. Great rental for a decent price.

This is a nice cabin in the woods. You can't beat the view in the morning.I slept so well there, it's quiet, the air is crisp, and the bed is comfortable. Just be prepared that the driveway is steep. Not really a problem once you get used to it.

The place was comfortable and for the most part quiet. Was inconvenient not having a sink in bathroom.The refrigerator, when running, is not a pleasant sound. Resembles someone breathing. Ran the box fan to mask the sound.We enjoyed exploring the hiking trails on premises.

My Stay

I liked my stay. Everything was positive. The only thing I didn’t like was the “ring camera system” at the top entry of the VRBO where the chairs are set. It videos and “possibly” records what is being said. It felt intrusive. Maybe move that to the entrance of the steps. I would have felt more comfortable to sit there without being videoed and recorded. Overall a great place, clean, safe, and comfortable! Nice stay, I would rent again and recommend!

We can understand about the ring doorbell close to the seating area and being in private, but its a doorbell, placed near the door for it's said job to do, reaching us when needed and if a delivery comes we know its been delivered. Firstly I would stay here again if I am in need of an accommodation in this area. It was a clean an cozy place to stay and the hosts were very nice and responsive. As many as I have to stay in, I still despise a hotel. I am getting plans together to offer people short term stays such as this and I travel extensively and have stayed at many of these properties. With my background in building and home design I do have some suggestions for this property. 1. Work on the driveway. Its steep, but it just needs to be maintained if folks are going to be coming and going. 2. A walkway and pad at the bottom of the steps to get around and up to the loft. It rained the first two days of the stay and the route to get to the steps was through the yard and my new business shoes had to be cleaned when I got to the show in Corbin that was working. 3. The steps aren't terrible going up, but it's a little tricky coming down. 4. The steps were icy and slick this morning, maybe add some grip tape or grip paint. 5.The loft was cozy, but with the bathroom not having a sink, and having it where it is, its not a great flow in the layout. I definitely see what they are trying to accomplish, but it needs a redesign and layout. 6. Try to redo the electrical outlets so they don't risk a fire. The drop coords to the coffee pot, microwave, the toaster oven, and the island power strip is just a short waiting to happen. 7. Fie extinguisher, smoke detector, and carbon minoxide detector need to be up there.
