PRIVATE HOT TUB; BEAUTIFUL DECK WITH MOUNTAIN VIEW AND ABUNDANT WILDLIFE. There is a circular drive-in front as well as level parking right off the road in front of our sign. We own the lots on both sides of the cabin....so you'll never feel crowded .WOODBURNING FIREPLACE, PRIVATE HOT TUB . TOWER FANS & CEILING FANS ARE PROVIDED FOR COOLING. WE HAVE ADDED A HOTEL TYPE AC & heat unit to the main living area! This will cool down the kitchen, living, dining area , hall bathroom and help with cooling the bedrooms! Nights in Ruidoso are cool but there are plenty of fans to add to your comfort.
We do allow dogs, maximum of 2, by approval. Pet fee applies, per dog. Must be housebroken & DO NOT GET ON BEDDING OR FURNITURE. If evidence that a dog has been on bedding or furniture, additional cleaning fees apply. The Ruidoso area has so much to offer! An abundant choice of restaurants, numerous golf courses, snow skiing, breathtaking mountain scenery, shopping(many unique shops), horse racing, The new ALPINE SLIDE for fun on the mountains in summertime! Las Vegas style gambling , multiple places to hike, go karts, activities for the entire family. Our just sit on the deck, take in the beautiful mountains & wildlife, sip on your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evenings.What's not to love?
The people are among the friendliest you will find. That's why people keep returning year after year. You won't find a cleaner or better kept property, we don't believe! We have an excellent housekeeper and make it a priority to have top-notch bedding. We've worked hard to have a high rating on our reviews and will continue to do so! And.....we appreciate every single one! Please check road and weather conditions when traveling in winter months. Ruidoso is a mountainous area....and snow chains or 4 wheel drive is recommended in snowy seasons. We have central heat and ceiling fans, tower fans for cooling at the cabin.

Great Cabin

We had a great experience at the Lazy N cabin. It had everything we needed for the week. We were there during a snowstorm and very cold temps. We didn’t leave the cabin for 2 days. There was ample firewood to keep the fireplace going, plenty of towels, dishes, etc. Janelle was very easy to communicate with and we were able to extend our stay due to the snowstorm. I’m an above knee amputee and use a wheelchair when not wearing my prosthetic.Even though this is not an accessible cabin, I was able to navigate the hallway, front bathroom, bedrooms, and kitchen. We enjoyed watching the deer and elk that came by to visit. The only issue we had was the driveway, and it was our fault for not following the recommendations of having 4 wheel drive or snow chains. Once we purchased chains at Walmart, we were good to go. So, if you go and there is snow, be more prepared than we were. Overall we had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Home away from home

This cabin was everything detailed in the description. The location was ideal for all activities. The house was very clean and smelled great when we walked in the door. There was everything we needed to cook, do laundry and start a fire! It was exciting to look outside and see all the wildlife. Homeowner was very quick to respond when we had a question! Overall great home and would definitely bring our family back.

Perfect Cozy Cabin

Family of 5 stayed 4 days. The posted pictures do not show this property to its full potential. This is the perfect mountain cabin experience. Bedrooms are full size, both bathrooms full size. Amazing double deck for wildlife viewing, cooking, and socializing. Hot tub is perfect. Open lots on both sides provide a truly private experience. The firewood provided is more than enough for a week stay..super ! The laundry room is amazing for keeping towels and swimsuits dry for the next dip lol the kids truly loved that part. The positive list goes on but in short this property and manager is truly loved. This property and the memories it provided will live with our kids for a lifetime.

Perfect cozy cabin

Cabin was excellently appointed. Kitchen had everything needed to make a Thanksgiving dinner and was so easy to move around in. Hot water was excellent, comfy beds and living area and the hot tub was so welcoming. Janelle was wonderful. Very sweet and rrspinsive. We couldnt have asked for a better holiday weekend. Excellent hosts!

Very clean, Quiet, and, Peaceful!!

The cabin was very nice and clean, we enjoyed our stay there very much. We were sitting out on the deck and elk were just out there walking around. It was very quiet and peaceful and plan to stay there the next time I go to Ruidoso..

Charming Cabin

The cabin is beautiful and very spacious. We had everything we needed. Conveniently located, but private. We loved every moment of our stay. Highly recommend!

Perfect Cabin

This is our second time at this cabin and we love it! Perfect for our family with kids and pups. Love the fenced in yard, hot tub and closeness to town. Will definitely be back!

Walking on Eggshells with Poor property maintenance

First came to property and loved the cute cabin look. Pulled out first glass and it was dirty. No cereal bowls. The pull out couch was missing the nuts and bolts on right side and the couch tilted to the right by at least eight inches leaving it unusable despite renting and paying extra for our eight year old grandson to use. Definitely not safe. The chairs at table were wobbly and we found screws on the floor. The front blinds were broken and splattered with mud?! The nightmare had just started as the water heater was broken and there was No hot water for washing the dishes or for showers. Calls to the owner were deemed complaints and bothered her. In fact when asking how to get TVs to work she stated we must have damaged her TVs! Of course problem on master was dead batteries which we replaced at our cost The water heater was replaced day three and workmen stated that we were lucky because there were corroded wires sitting in water on the top of the corroded non functioning water heater. This was an extreme fire hazard the workmen said. This was replaced mid day on day three. No showers or ability to use hot water in thirty degree temps. Once a case file complaint was made the owner contacted us to use a nearby cabin. This was an attempt to satisfy the VRBO complaint as the code did not work to enter the other cabin when attempting to contact owner and her cleaning lady we had no response. The dryer had a hole in vent with lint on Pipes and floor so fire hazard.

Riudoso Rocks!

We had a fabulous visit to Riudoso. The house was perfect and very comfortable. Will def stay here again. Needed to bring a few specialty items for cooking. Bring your sharpest kitchen knife! I was glad i did. Loved the view and the spa. Loved the little kitchen area for games and meals. Thank you for the comfy house!

Loved the place although driveway was a challenge for two cars. Air conditioning in bedrooms would have been nice but managed to keep place cool.

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our week at the Lazy N cabin. The area is very convenient to midtown and grocery stores but feels private. We saw elk, deer, a fox and a lot of birds (hummingbirds, nuthatches, chickadees, jays etc.) in the area around the cabin while we were there. The small AC unit kept the cabin cool during the day and we left the windows open at night. We used the hot tub several times and it was easy to use and clean. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes etc. We would definitely rent this cabin again.

Quick Getaway before the school year

The property was amazing. There was a small issue when we arrived and I reached out to the property owner and she had it resolved quickly. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location, close to everything. Deck was wonderful to view wildlife. Cabin had some minor maintenance issues that needed to be addressed - owner was responsive.

Mountain Cabin in the summer

This Cabin was nice and not to far from Mid town and a grocery store. Would have been a little more comfortable if the A/C unit was already hooked up and running- ( It was sitting on back deck awaiting install). Ruidoso was almost 90* the time our family was there. I think we would rent this place again in the fall. Janelle (owner) called us before we arrived and discussed the cabin & hot tub.
